Take my sister to Adelaide 410k ( she is going home after her holiday with us) Drive 485k to Mount Gambier to pick up a rescue dog – Drive back to Bolivar – stay overnight – drive home – about 1100 miles in two days – but he is definitely worth it!! Monday (today) R & R. That’s my weekend..

You & Sam will be having a lot more fun than me because I plan to start packing up my house … AGAIN. (ugh)
You’re right, that doesn’t sound exactly like fun but the good news is you’ll be that much closer to home-so color us selfishly happy at your expense (sorry). But I know you’re a rock star at it and will make it all sing. Good luck! 😉

Hospital adventures are the best! Have fun, S. This weekend, Mom will leave me alone like a dog while she goes to the movies. Next weekend, we will have Veteran’s Home adventures! Yay!

Not to worry about the reminder!! Just being with Shadow and/or Ducky reminds me of Callie and how much I miss my big girl. At some point I’ll be able to just smile instead of smiling through my tears.

I absolutely LOVE the smell of a fresh Friday. It’s awesome! We plan on camping this weekend. It’s going to be miserable outside. Therefore, we are camping inside of the Hotel Thompson in front of the fireplace. Just hanging with each other. We may even pop some popcorn. XOXO – Bacon

We are getting ready for the Hurricane to hit on sunday. Gassing up the generator, battening down the hatches, etc. The power company already called and said basically, “every man for himself!!” So, if we have power I’ll quilt on my Fall tumbler project, if not I’ll try to read by flashlight, or Drew and I can play cards. Cole asks if he can come stay at Sam’s house, but I told him it’s too far…
