Well, they DID look perfect. A wild hail storm took care of the garden. We have sticks now and just needed a visual memory to console ourselves. 🙂
Ouch! That’s terrible!! Our garden rarely looks any good but to have your garden taken out in its prime like that must have been awful.
It was heartbreaking, but a fact of nature in Colorado. Hail storms happen!
We had a hailstorm here last year and I got caught in the middle of it photographing the clouds…silly me! They were obviously seriously bad! The hail smashed through the back roof. Not good at all!

Not very successful. Sam has to wait for a few months until the vegetation to turn brown and then he’ll be camouflaged perfectly.
We needed the reminder of what it WAS before last week. *sigh*
