Fab Friday

We’ve all seen videos and photos of dogs who catch a glimpse of themselves in a mirror or window. Some growl, some cock their head, some pounce and bark then again there are those who think, “Dang, am I one handsome dude or what?!”

Dude 2

Here’s hoping the weekend looks good to you.

Live, love, bark! <3

  1. My sight hounds never did give a whiff about reflections or react to voices on the phone, digital device or TV. Loki’s only concern was the woodland bears, coyotes, foxes and skunks. Aria didn’t, and still doesn’t, care so much about any of that as long as you had a hand, full or empty, to pet her and a leg to lean against!

  2. Kissy used to bark at first and then walk away from it. Every. Time.

No full-length mirrors in this house, so I’m not sure what these two and their angel sister would have done.

  3. The poodle took one look and tried to tear the mirror from the wall…now she ignores it.

After one sideways look Stein the Staffie studiously ignores the mirror while his brother Bunter happily licks his image…for ages.
Black Tot treats the image as beneath contempt.

  4. Your shadow follows you too my friend? Isn’t that so weird. Mine does the same thing and tries to cut in on my beauty. Snorts with piggy laughter. XOXO – Bacon

      1. YES! And they are the trouble makes. I firmly believe that my deviled ham side is always in the mirror watching… my sweet bacon side never causes problems – evah. XOXO – Bacon

  5. Cole puppy was terrified of a mirror! He hated sleeping on our bed because there is a mirror on the wall near the bed! I remember the first time he didn’t panic when seeing himself. LeeAnna

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but no growling please.
