Sorry for the lack of a post on Tuesday. My “editor” and I seem to have had a difference of opinion yesterday morning and we failed to agree on a post. Lately Sam hasn’t been particularly helpful when it comes to fulfilling his duties as the muse around the Ranch.
Does anyone else have trouble with their “editors?” Mine has been especially capricious of late. He will no doubt be mightily upset when I leave tomorrow for a wedding/family reunion. Uh…suck it up, Buttercup…you had your chance. [snicker] In the meantime, till that hound comes through with something, how ’bout a bit of ‘bathroom humor?’
Life, love, bark! <3
Hahaha
Lol, cute!
Oh, it’s a bummer when the muse won’t cooperate. But, heck, I only post once a week now, so you look like you’re doing great to me!
Cute pic!
I don’t do anything to a schedule, which I must admit made it challenging getting everyone organised for our daughter’s performance at the Sydney Opera HOuse. I have never had trouble with total writer’s block but I do get stuck on projects and have been avoiding my main book project for some time.
What I do have is cleaning block at home. I get the essentials done but writing taken precedence…along with Mum’s Taxi Service.
Hope you’re having a great week.
xx Rowena
Thanks, Ro. I’m always impressed with your ability to juggle writing and family. You definitely get a gold star ⭐️ for being on top of it all.
Thanks, Monika. I think that’s me lying flat over a mountain of chaos! xx Ro
I haven’t had a blogging schedule since I don’t know when. Since I retired I decided I wasn’t going to do anything on a schedule unless absolutely necessary. 😃
Good for you! I’m still learning how to retire 🙃
Luckily for me, I have four muses to choose from!!
Happy family time!
That could be a good or a bad thing!
Sam, you’d better start coming up with some posts while your Mom is gone to avoid this kind of embarrassing bathroom humor! (although it is really funny, BOL!)
My sweet Jolie Amie had days when she would say, “Time for my nap, Granny. Why don’t you relax, too?” As usual, she was often right.
Enjoy your family get-together! Sounds like Sam might be joining all of his fur-iends at the doggy Hilton soon. ;o)
He’ll be staying home with Wayne. After Hawaii we couldn’t bear another boarding for him.
Awww…he’ll be happy with at home with dad. Boarding the kitties always makes me feel guilty too. 🙁
That breed of dog takes the end of a roll of toilet paper and runs with it.
Love the photo. As you know, I don’t post on a regular basis. I am trying to do better and am shooting for once a week, at least. So, for me, I just don’t have time to post every day. Too many other things going on in my life. And, that is okay. So, don’t worry about not posting every day. Sometimes, you just need a break to live life. Have fun at the wedding.
A break…or an organizational class…to better take care of stuff! LOL
Yes. A class might help, as would learning to use the word “no” more often. LOL
Oh yeah, the ole “that’s not gonna work for me, that’s just not gonna work for me” mantra. 😎
No worries! We only post a minimum of 3 days on Cody’s blog and if we are lucky, we post on Dakota’s when the mood hits lmao!! In my opinion, there is no need to blog 7 days a week for anyone!
HAHAHA!! Lavatory retriever. I love that my friend. XOXO – Bacon
that’s funny! They must wonder why we leave it in the same place all the time.
Oh my fave breed..i do miss Forrest’s forays into the bathroom …it get’s lonely in there now 🙂 xxxx
When I am lacking inspiration I blame my cats. After all they are expected to do something “blog worthy” when I need it. All I get is a nap and a yawn. How exciting is that?
Hahahahaha! It is hard to post every day. I have runs of inspiration then………Oh well 🙂 Have a great time at the wedding!
I agree Sam… it’s my paw-fession to sit on her lap… always and efurrywhere…:o)
