Friday Fun

Winter dropped by yesterday in Colorado with snow and rain. Some nearby mountain areas received close to 30 inches. You read that right 3-0! While my neighborhood only received a skiff of the white stuff, more is forecast for today, though I expect only liquid stuff. The joys of springtime in the Rockies. In the meantime, IT’S FRIDAY!!  Wishing you a fun, fur-filled weekend.

Live, love, bark! ❤︎

  1. Mother Nature is SO drunk. We are going to be in the 70’s today, after three or four days in the 50’s. Before that it was the 90’s, where we broke a record. WTH?

  2. Unbelievable! Glad I live in TN. Love the pic and text with it. Hope you had a good weekend, even if it was wet and cold.

  3. Well after a Thursday from hell, it was nice to have the weekend to look forward to. But it’s so freakin humid outside that even Ducky was happy to come back inside. She spent most of the early afternoon in the yard with daddy while I cleaned the house.

  4. Our local weather station recorded that 35.8″ fell. It started melting and compacting right away but it is a humongous mass of snow! Enjoy your weekend!

  5. That dog/cat photograph is wonderful! Talk about blending in! :p
Our Mama was wearing her winter coat last night when she was walking the dogs! Really odd/cold weather in Vancouver too!!

the critters in the cottage xo

  6. They had somer of the wet stuff here last week. I was a thousand kilmeters away and no rain, where I was but it was cold. There was some rain in Adelaide when I got back to there but nothing for the drive home from Adelaide, thankfully. I hate driving that road in the rain.

  7. Snow in May is so wrong, we hope you enjoy it. We are enjoying the heat and humidity here.

  8. wet stuff!! happy for you all. you have said that its been much needed. another blog I read from higher up in the Rockies in CO said they have 3 feet and more coming down of the much needed snow.

  9. Took me a few seconds to see the cat.
Wow snow in May?? Spring has finally arrived here in NorCal – expect high 80’s this weekend. Finally! Now I move on to complaining about the heat. 🙂

    1. We had temps in the upper 80’s just a week ago. While snow is not totally out of the question this time of year, this storm, on the heels of a big hail storm, seems out of character, even for a mixed-up Mother Nature. Almost looking forward to complaining about heat again. Almost. 😉

  10. hmmm I’d suspect global warming climate changes but our leader says that’s fake… shrug?

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but no growling please.
