Monday Musings

Happy Monday, sports fans. Hope you had a fabulous weekend. Any of you watch the Preakness race Saturday? O.M.G., was that a finish or what?

Although there won’t be a Triple Crown winner this year, that was one heck of an exciting race that gave me goosebumps and took my breath away. Amazing!

Last night I was looking for some inspiration to follow-up on the race and came across this photo and thought starting out the week with a smile like this. Here’s hoping all your photobombs make you smile and you “come from the outside” to win the week.

Live, love, bark! ❤︎

  1. I kept thinking of the old Spike Lee radio routine of …
“And now they come down to the wire,
and it’s number one and now number two
    and it’s very close,
it’ll either be a photo finish or an oil painting,”
    snorf, snorf

  2. Kaci goes nuts when she sees a horse race. She jumps up and down, makes a lot of noise and we wonder which one has her life savings to win.

  3. TV is the thing Annabell watches. I watch the news and that’s about it. I liked the photobomb shot and I have to agree that I wouldn’t mind being photobombed by a horse, particularly if it’s a beautiful Clydesdale.

  4. love the smiling horse ;o) we saw kentucky (the mama won 5 bucks and something) but sadly we have not much horse racing in our tv… wonder why…. maybe they could show more hose sports and less soccer boredom? that would be great…

  5. Good morning to you up in CO,
There wasn’t much of a sports weekend here as the German soccer game(s) I had wanted to watch weren’t shown on TV here. But then, at least my favourite team [Borussia Dortmund] won and finished the season in 3rd place, which allows them to participate in the European Champions’ League Cup.
I wish you a great week,
    Pit
P.S.: As my comments via Firefox don’t get through, I’m trying this one via MS IE. Let’s hope that works.

  6. the smile is what is amazing. I always say, after the fact, “that would have been a great shot!”

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but no growling please.
