This is how I deal with a new week. How about you…did you have a good weekend?

  1. I just sleep all day in bed until Monday is over. My humom doesn’t have that same luxury. I think sometimes she just ends up getting ice cream or a tasty drink with Wilhelmina’s humom. BOL!

  2. Way to take a bite out of Monday! We had a busy weekend. Saturday I returned to my Visiting Pet Program visits at the nursing home. We take three months off during the summer, so just imagine how happy I was to see all of my favorite friends going strong. The residents were also overjoyed to see the dogs back. They said they’d really missed us. Made my day! Then on Sunday, Tallulah and I met two Golden boy brothers at the park for a double date . . . chaperoned by all of our humans, of course. 😉 Wishing you and Elsa and your mom a very happy week.

  3. Being retired, weekends don’t mean as much to me as they do to most people. Just more normal days to get things done. It was busy and a little stressful worrying about family in FL. Thankfully, they are all okay and have only minor damage to fencing, trees, and yards.

  4. Unfortunately we did not have the best of weeks. I was sick and spend much of the week in bed which means that Benji and I did not go walking. Starting to recover now and went out for a little while for the first time this morning. Not too bad. Hope for a quiet week. The church Fete has been cancelled this weekend because of on-going sickness and Annabell tells me that there was only 12 at church on Sunday.

  5. We’re getting some rain and wind remnants of #HurricaneIrma. But we’re all safe and happy that my brother and K9 nephew – as well as many blogging buddies and their families & friends – are safe and dry. Hopefully this mess will be gone in a day or two.

Perfect weather for watching movies, though!

  6. Dogs are exhausted after a weekend of chasing down to the gate every hour or so to greet – and vet – visitors, then having to entertain said visitors by producing toys for them followed in the evening by a neighbourhood bark-in and just when they are ready for a quiet nap this morning they have to investigate a man selling plants door to door….
    It’s a dog’s life…

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but no growling please.
