I just sleep all day in bed until Monday is over. My humom doesn’t have that same luxury. I think sometimes she just ends up getting ice cream or a tasty drink with Wilhelmina’s humom. BOL!
Way to take a bite out of Monday! We had a busy weekend. Saturday I returned to my Visiting Pet Program visits at the nursing home. We take three months off during the summer, so just imagine how happy I was to see all of my favorite friends going strong. The residents were also overjoyed to see the dogs back. They said they’d really missed us. Made my day! Then on Sunday, Tallulah and I met two Golden boy brothers at the park for a double date . . . chaperoned by all of our humans, of course. 😉 Wishing you and Elsa and your mom a very happy week.
Being retired, weekends don’t mean as much to me as they do to most people. Just more normal days to get things done. It was busy and a little stressful worrying about family in FL. Thankfully, they are all okay and have only minor damage to fencing, trees, and yards.
Unfortunately we did not have the best of weeks. I was sick and spend much of the week in bed which means that Benji and I did not go walking. Starting to recover now and went out for a little while for the first time this morning. Not too bad. Hope for a quiet week. The church Fete has been cancelled this weekend because of on-going sickness and Annabell tells me that there was only 12 at church on Sunday.
So sorry to hear you’ve been under the weather. Sam, Elsa and I send our best poodle healing thoughts our way. Take good care, get plenty of rest so you can hit the beach again soon.
We’re getting some rain and wind remnants of #HurricaneIrma. But we’re all safe and happy that my brother and K9 nephew – as well as many blogging buddies and their families & friends – are safe and dry. Hopefully this mess will be gone in a day or two.
Dogs are exhausted after a weekend of chasing down to the gate every hour or so to greet – and vet – visitors, then having to entertain said visitors by producing toys for them followed in the evening by a neighbourhood bark-in and just when they are ready for a quiet nap this morning they have to investigate a man selling plants door to door….
It’s a dog’s life…
we had a quiet weekend… but this week started with lots of annoying paper stuff we have to do… and sadly Phenny is not in the mood today for confetti ;O)

Not the worst way to spend a Monday, I’d say!

Always good visiting with old and new fur-iends. No doubt they were thrilled to see you again. A double date, eh? I see a story there!
We’re with you, Elsa. Mondays don’t survive for very long around here 😉
You can chew on Monday all you want, but it just continues to smirk at you!
That expression truly is too damn cheerful for a Monday, isn’t it?

Glad to hear the family is safe. I know what you mean about week days vs. weekends. It all become a blur when you’re retired.
It sure does. And, I feel like I am busier now than I was when I worked. I can’t seem to get anything accomplished!
Yes, that is definitely the norm when you’re retired. Busy, busy, busy. All the time. I just wonder how did I manage to fit work in before? LOL
I know what you mean!

There she is!! I love seeing pictures of her and Sam!
Aw thanks. She’s such a pill, we can’t let her get too comfortable hogging the blog. She’d be insufferable. BOL

Perfect weather for watching movies, though!
Glad to hear your are all safe and will continue to send pawsitive poodle thoughts to all those in Irma’s path.
We remember last week when Monday was a holiday and Tuesday was doubly busy so we don’t mind Monday so much.
Yes, I’m still here unlike some in Irma’s path so it was a good weekend.
Good idea to give Monday to Elsa. The Ninja will get rid of it!
I’m already ready for the coming weekend – and the week isn’t that old yet!
It’s only Tuesday and I’m counting the days…..
Hope you’re feeling much better now. And the weekend is one day closer. 😄
You and me both!
Had a great weekend, kinda quiet. Hope you have a great week!
Wishing you a pawsome week!
Thanks

It’s a dog’s life…
A dog’s work is never done when it comes to home protection. Of that I have no doubt!
Have a great week, we had a great weekend! 🙂
Thanks, you too!
