Word(y) Wednesday

Is it as incomprehensible to you as it is to me that it’s already October?! Here’s to a glorious month. We’ll be celebrating the birthday of a certain knucklehead in a few days, so make sure to check out the antics celebration.

Live, love, bark! ❤︎

  1. Completely incomprehensible! October is almost winter up here. We already had our first snow!

I can’t wait for that birthday!

  2. I love October! How nice to have a birthday celebration to look forward to as well this month. (Although here in San Diego, we’ve had our worst fires in Octobers – it can be really hot and dry here this month, which is always a bummer!)

    1. Your mom and me are similar: Strengths: Cooperative, diplomatic, gracious, fair-minded, social. Libra likes: Harmony, gentleness, sharing with others (well maybe not especially sharing with Elsa though, BOL), the outdoors Libra dislikes: Violence, injustice, loudmouths, conformity
      Your fur-iend,
      Sam🐾

  3. This is Luke’s birthday month too, but his isn’t until late in the month. I was supposed to reply to a shower invitation by 10/1 and totally missed it because I couldn’t even believe it was October already! It is a favorite month though, so we welcome it!

  4. Oh, I bet that would be extra fun to have a birthday in October, the same month as All Hallows Eve! Lucky doggie you! Wishing you the best birthday to come! Mew Mew!

  5. OoOO goody! Another pawty!! can’t wait to see what kind of yummy treats are featured! BOL! That’s a beautiful photo too! I love the colors!

  6. Oh nooooo. My peep’s mom’s birthday is Oct 14. My peep’s is the 28th. And my peep grew up near Sleepy Hollow. To cap it off, my peep’s dad was born on Halloween. HELP-I hope I can make it to November OK.

  7. Indeed time flies. It seems only a short time ago that I bought my pocket calendar for 2017, but yesterday I already bought one for 2018. And quite soon I’ll be using that!
Looking forward to a certain “knucklehead’s” birthday! 😉

    1. You guys are behind the times…to really get a jump on retail sales, Christmas decor must be out shortly after Labor Day to be truly effective and obnoxious. Good grief, man…think of the sales you’re missing??!!

      1. We used to do that about 15 years ago, but lost the extra space we had to set the Christmas stuff that early. We did have the trees and lights out in mid September, though everyone knows that’s stuff people do buy early (They really do!)

  8. I’m with you on that! It’s amazing how time flies by when you’re so busy that it makes your head spin. But I love October – it’s cool in the morning and evening and just right during the day. And pretty soon it’ll be time to watch “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!” again. (I love my Peanuts Gang!)

And just so I don’t forget later on, Happy Birthday Sam!!!

      1. Whoa! You realize both our fur-kids have ‘bark days’ close to each other with Ducky’s and Elsa’s Gotcha Days within a couple days of each other and now Shadow and Sam’s within days?! What are the odds? 😍

  9. The whole Spring/Summer just flew by this year!! Happy Early Birthday, Sam!
    xoxo,
    Jakey, Arty & Rosy
