(Almost) Wordless Wednesday ~ December 6, 2017

It’s midway through the week and I find myself day-dreaming lallygagging…instead of baking treats and mailing out howli-day cards. How’s your week been? Hope you’re ‘getting ‘er done’ better than I am.

Live, love, bark! ❤︎

  1. For some reason, all of my get up and go has gotten up and left. Plus I stepped off the curb at CVS after getting my awesome Christmas cards printed and my good knee went out on me. UGH! Ortho appointment tomorrow.

  2. Mom is trying to “get er done” BOL! Yesterday 3 packages were shipped to family and she is getting the Christmas cards finished up

  3. We are like you!!! I am a nervous wreck, starting to receive cards and can’t even begin to mail ours out til the 18th of the month, same with our Secret Paws that we have to mail out……….I feel so bad having to do it all so late this year but I have no choice! I haven’t even opened the cards I am starting to receive because 1) I feel bad about having to mail on the 18th 2) I am waiting for the snow that is coming this week to open them so it feels more like holiday time 🙂

    1. I stopped fretting about the whole card thing years ago (and have even sent out New Years cards once) but still kind of freak out about the baking since I deliver treat tins to neighbors and friends in lieu of gifts. We just have to do what we can do and let the rest go. But easier said than done, right? 😇 Hang in there❣️ Hugs to you.

  4. He he! You’re doing better than I am.

I’ve promised myself not to listen to Christmas music or decorate the boat until my husband takes pictures of my fall decorations. He better hurry up or I’ll miss the holidays all together.

  5. I made some rum balls last night – but those Christmas cards are just sitting and waiting to be addressed. I’m hopeful the elf will get around to them. No, wait. I want our elf nowhere near those things.

  6. I’m trying to not lallygag today, but I’m not having much luck yet. I think daydreaming about Sam Elliot is a much better choice. LOL I, too, am way behind on my Christmasy things. I do plan to work on Christmas cards today. May not get any decorations up again this year. When you live alone, it’s not quite as important.

    1. No, but it makes a single person feel a bit more like they belong to the real of the world when they decorate. Hope you are able to make a dent in your day’s choices and maybe even have a few sweet daydreams. 😉

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but no growling please.
