Fab Friday ~ December 29, 2017

It’s Last Call…for Friday that is. On this last Friday of the year, let’s welcome our old friend. As we prepare to welcome in a fresh clean slate, also known as 2018, let’s stop and savor today and rejoice at its 51 cousins who made life interesting all year-long.

From our house to yours, we wish you peace, love and a whole lotta tail wags. Have a safe and Happy New Year.

  1. Hey Guys! Happy Friday and Happy New year to all!

Also, I was looking at Healing Paws Animal Therapy site and I saw you on it and I was wondering if you owned it or not. If you do, can you please help me find out a little bit more about how to get your dog signed up for visiting hospitals. We are thinking about doing it with Tula.

    Thanks!
    I LOVE PETS

    1. We do not own that therapy site and were unaware we are on it. We are volunteers that are affiliated with a local hospital. Each place is different so you should google for therapy trainers in your area or contact hospitals directly to see what their requirements are and whether they have a program. Good luck.

      1. If I remember correctly, I think the site was called Healing Paws in case you want to check it out. I got it from a hospital. When I googled on therapy animals it said that hospitals are only allowing healing Paws to train and teach dogs for hospital use right now. Is that true??

  2. Happy New Year to you all! We hope you have a better year in 2018 and that the fresh start to the book, brings new, exciting adventures.
    Best wishes,
    Ro

  3. Happy New Year Sweet friends! Don’t you both look adorable in your festive bandanas ?!
We hope 2018 is a wonderful year for all of you , filled with the best life has to offer with an extra dollop of laughter and tail wags 🙂

  4. I hope that 2018 brings all good things to you! And I hope that it brings a calming of the winds. My neighbor recorded 98 mph wind today. I’m ready for that to end! Has it been super windy down there?

    1. Many thanks for the well wishes. Seems like it’s always breezy in Denver but certainly nothing like that! Here’s hoping 2018 brings loads of terrific outings with your pups and smiles in your heart. Happy New Year.

  5. And the very same wishes right back at you!!! And a very Happy New Year too!!!

  6. To Mom, Dad, Sam and The Ninja, we thank you for all your posts and your lovely encouraging comments. We wish you everything you would wish for yourself. Benji has a New Year without the WaWa, so that can’t be bad. We hope 2018 brings, love, joy and happiness- and a good recovery for Mom/Grandma.

    1. We’re hoping for the best in 2018 and have enough optimism to carry us through. At least until March. Peace, happiness for 2018 and in the alternative less aggravation. That’s worth celebrating, right? 😍

  7. HNY to all creatures at the Ranch.

I was thinking about Sam and Elsa a few days ago while watching highlights from past AKC dog shows. I told Holly that the first canine suicide would take place If one of those standard poodle show dogs had enough self awareness to see how they look with that ridiculous haircut. Poofy balls with a bare butt- not a good look any pup should have to endure.

It’s been a good year and in 2018 I will keep the resolution I made many years ago which was not to make resolutions but as Nike says, “just do it”.

All the best from The Golden K.

    1. And a poodle Happy New Year to you and all yours girls, Michael…sans poufs of course. 🤣 Many thanks for your fur-iendship and support this year. We are so grateful for your support and look forward to continuing to live vicariously in paradise from The Golden K. Peace and joy in 2018. 😍

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but no growling please.
