Poodle drama for sure every five weeks or so. I hate that it’s so stressful for him but lord have mercy he looks (and smells) fabulous after the “ordeal.” I give him extra treats to soothe …and, I think he KNOWS how lovely he looks when all is said and done! He prances during his walk with a heightened air of sophistication as in “look at me, don’t I rock?”
Both of mine hate it but thankfully tolerate. And yes, they do prance after a grooming. Cracks me up. Dragging butts until then but as soon as bathed and clipped, a quick step in the paws with heads held high. They are such dawgs! 🐩
I think if I had the poodle, it would get the unfinished job – but you’ve seen what I do to Choppy. This probably isn’t surprising.
Bwahaha! Choppy always looks good even in goofy costumes.
Ha!!! Dakota goes next week…..I am sooo embarrassed because it has been MUCH longer than it should have been. I cannot WAIT for him to go he looks like a mess! BOL!

Oh Elsa! Wilhelmina feels for you! She is not a fan of the groomer’s herself! How often do you get groomed? Wilhelmina goes to the groomer’s every seven weeks and has since she was a puppy but she still finds it a great tragedy when she loses her curls! ;p

Tragedy would be putting it mildly. Mom usually does me about every 6 weeks or so, depending if she’s trimmed me up in between or not.Sam gets his done once a month because he goes to the hospital and acts like he’s being tortured too. Must be a poodle thing. 😇

No enjoyment in mudville. Until we’re all dry and the treats are a-flowing. ☺️

Ha. I’ve been chasing her from hiding and safe places most of the afternoon. Poor thing, she really is not into baths and keeps giving me such pitiful looks.

Oh yes, she can make me feel so bad. It’s been a rough day for her. Bath, groom job and 2 trips to the vet. #Badmom

Yup, haircut too. The whole works. Just got finished with her; she’s not very happy with me but hope the new special treats bring her around.

Elsa’s hair is so long, it’s gonna be quite the project. Just hope my sinus headache goes away so I can bend over for rinsing. 🤧
