  1. Oh yes, mine too! We are just finally starting to get some color here. It doesn’t want to stop raining, so that kind of puts a damper on the enjoyment of it though! They are promising us sunshine this weekend though – paws crossed.

    1. We’ll keep our paws crossed for you. There is a tiny chance we might get some rain. It’ll probably be 12-15 drops, but at this point, I’d take it! Need to settle all the dry leaves dust somehow.

    1. Oh yeah…I remember the days when I owned a retail store and our Christmas merchandise started rolling in late September. By the end of October I was already over the whole holiday thing. *Sigh*

  2. Me too…sort of. Actually, October is usually one of the hottest months of the year here. So, mostly November is better ☺ Butts I concur with the sentiment! BOL
    Kisses,

  3. October is indeed easy on the eyes. Not only for the cooler weather and fabulous foliage but for the intrigue and wonder of the coming holiday season. Spare me the pumpkin spice lattes, though, let’s move directly to the Octoberfest beers!

    1. That’s a brilliant thought! With the way too over the top pumpkin-spicing of EVERYTHING, a nice cold glass of hoppy suds definitely hits the spot better. Cheers! 🍺

  4. Those colors remind Mom of her many years in New England. We don’t quite that vibrancy here in Kansas, but October is still a very pretty month.

    1. Amen. Though today will be another summery day in the mid-upper 80’s. Tomorrow will be my kind of day-60’s. Woo-hoo.

        1. It doesn’t get much better. Walks (since I loath running-but hey it probably looks and feels goooood on you) are divine, especially with crunching leaves to tramp through. And the lighting in autumn is absolutely breathtaking. And then there are the smells of autumn, so earthy and rich.

    1. My favorite time of year. Nice temps and gorgeous golden light. Can’t ask for better.

  5. I could not agree more but for different reasons – you because it’s Fall and me because it’s Spring – both beautiful seasons (mostly)

    1. It’s definitely a wonderful time of year, no matter where you’re enjoying it! Today will feel more like summer but beginning tomorrow, it’ll be more seasonal. Enjoy!

    1. The color change is pretty slow this year, I was looking for a photo yesterday and noticed lots of past photos that had loads of autumn color.

    1. Heard about that. Please feel free to send any excess our way. Dry as a bone here. Darn old Gulf Stream is making storms skip over us.

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but no growling please.
