Monday Musings ~ December 3, 2018

Eep…is it really December?!?! It just doesn’t seem possible, does it? If you were out holiday shopping this weekend, you just might a bit like this. Then again, if you’re like me, you probably feel that way whenever you’re out and about. *Sigh*

Here’s wishing you a great week.

Live, love, bark! 🐾

        1. Small consolation in this town. You should see the press coverage. They’re hyping the possibility they’ll make the playoffs. Bwahaha

            1. More like mocking Rockies management. But I get your drift. With our division being pretty tough I doubt they’ll make it. If they do I’ll be watching Downton Abbey reruns. Or hockey 🏒 🤣

  1. Ah, blinkers, yes… “I think maybe I might want to turn here (brakes), ummm, yes, I guess I will (starts turning). Oh yeah, I’ll put the blinker on now.” *This really happened to me yesterday. Blinker on AFTER you are turning??? What???

    1. Bwahaha! I’m sure I do, complete with saliva snarl. Stupid drivers send me into orbit!

  2. As you know, in California the use of blinkers is completely optional. Of course, the painted lines on the streets are merely suggestions. Speed limits are for general reference and amusement and the requirement to follow other rules of the road is inversely proportional to the value of the car with BMW drivers totally excepted from compliance with motoring laws in their entirety.

    1. I walk or take the bus whenever possible but sometimes you have to drive. And it always seems to be when the morons are out driving too. 😬

        1. Some days I think I’m in a 3rd world country with some of the worst drivers I’ve ever seen. And 99% of them all have one hand on the wheel and the other hand on a mobile device. 😬

  3. ROFWL>>>Oh Monika that Meme made me howl with laughter! I am a front seat driver & will say things like that all the time. I have managed to buy the few gifts I wanted to get already & I only have to buy Scratch Tickets @ corner store & I’m done!
And where DID 2018 go?????? LOL 🙂

  4. Oh wow! You have those people too? Don’t know how to use the blinker and and believe that giving way on roundabouts is merely optional and parking between the white lines is for ordinary people and doesn’t apply to them. All of the major stores here offer on-line grocery shopping – either collect or home delivered. Personally I think that just takes away the fun of shopping – Annabell does not agree..

    1. Sadly, we do and their ranks seem to be growing with each passing day.
Can’t seem to get with the online grocery shopping thing. I’m not ready to chuck that yet.

    1. Haha! Elsa is quite good about barking the HBO words in situations like this (much like her mommy, I’m afraid).

    1. Yes, it’s important to enjoy the ride but it would be more enjoyable for others if they use their turn signal.

    1. When you say that’s me, I’m hoping you’re the one screaming “it’s called a turn signal.” 😇

    1. Oh yes, that would be a real time saver. There are some stores here that do it but I haven’t tried that service. I must go up and down every isle to make sure I haven’t forgotten anything. It’s mostly the parking lot that pushes my buttons. 😈
