Monday Musings ~ December 17, 2018

We hope you had a wonderful weekend making preparations for Santa Paw’s arrival. Sam here, mom finally got her tush in gear and is mostly caught up. Are you ready for that big guy in red to show up? I’m gonna try out for a position with his reindeer. Think I have a chance?

Have a wooftastic week!

Live, love, bark! 🐾

  1. Precious little guy! I went to get a tree today and they had all run out at the lot I usually go to!! How is it possible?? Trying again tomorrow. Ottie used to help me decorate it but this year it’s Portia’s turn, even if her job, so far, has been to break one single ornament every year for the past 9 years she has been with us. god help us.

    1. But what special memories. 💓I opted not to put up a tree this year. Ever consider a live tree that can be planted in the garden?

    1. Hi Marty! So good to have you drop by. We’re good, hope you and your crew are as well. We miss you! 😍

    1. Oh boy…that would be an interesting ride if Elsa were co-pilot. 🎅🏻She’s the squirrel maniac. Sam is only interested in being pet and of course treats. Lots of treats.

      1. Ours is not as plentiful as I would like. Though it was nuts. I went into a store, there were 2-3 flakes… I shopped around, was there for a total of maybe 20 minutes, came out and it was a quasi-blizzard! Lasted all of 5 minutes, but still.

  2. Yup, definitely reindeer potential but the red nose required of a Rudolph may be a bridge too far for Sammy. He’d fit right in with Santa’s crew. Dasher, Dancer, Sammy, Blixen, Manny, Moe, Jack and the Olsen Twins…or whatever that list of reindeer names is.

    Oh, btw, more meat!

  3. Our lot have indicated that they are not impressed by tamales….somthing involving large quantities of meat is what is required, we are told, if Christmas is to go off well…

    1. As a long time vegetarian, I’ve heard that same lament over and over from the peanut gallery here. More meat, more meat, that’s all they bellow! 😅

    1. That’s a brilliant way to keep the curiosity factor on the low end of the scale when you want to keep presents intact.
