    1. Thank you-sorry I’m behind-was out of town yesterday. Catching up today. Have a super rest of the weeke.

    1. LOL, I prefer the earth under my feet, but especially when drinking margaritas!

  1. Beautiful!!! We see those giant balloons fly over our yard – sometimes they are low enough that the people on board call out to us!!!

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  2. They have a balloon festival not too far from us every year. Can you believe I’ve never been? Maybe this year I’ll go (not up in a balloon, however, I prefer to watch with both feet planted firmly on the ground – LOL).

  3. Last October we were at the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque: great fun! But I’m so far behind with posting about our travels [only got to day 15, i.e May 30] of our RailTrailsRoadTrip [https://wp.me/p4uPk8-1F2], which means writing about Albuquerque is still a long way off.

    1. One of my sis’s lived down there-wish I’d gone to see the festival while she was there. From her photos, it’s pretty amazing watching them all go up in the early morning sunrise. Looking forward to seeing your post on ABQ-a neat town.

  4. I always remember the epic ballonride for my old aunts 80th birthday . it collided with a tree and the basket tilted. the aunt landed on the ground and while we all tried not to laugh she yelled at us: clever idea, but not now, heritage vultures !

    1. Awk! That’s no way to celebrate a birthday. I love watching them but think I might have your aunt’s luck riding in one.

    1. They truly are amazing in the early morning hours when they rise in groups. So fascinating to watch.
