Monday Musings ~ June 6, 2022

It was a full and busy weekend. Norman and I participated in an all day fundraiser for the sheepdog rescue (we’ll have a post on that soon) so today’s smile seemed pretty spot on from our standpoint.

We hope your weekend was ‘wagnificent’ and today (as well as the entire week), being even better.

Live, love, bark! 🐾

  1. Mom finally brought me and Lucy home from pet sitting at our Auntie Jen’s on Friday, and we were happy to be with our whole family again. XOX Xena

    1. It was good, this weekend’s should be even better. That cartoon nailed it for us.

    1. Aww thanks, you’re too kind. Hope we don’t disappoint you. Have a great Monday!

  2. How fun. I’ve had many weeks like that. Norman rocks. Tell him I said so.

Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches to the pups, a smooch to Norman and a hug to you. ♥

    1. Norman is great for the kind words (as am I). Here’s hoping your week is totally ‘pawsome!’

    1. It does sound extra inviting on a Monday, doesn’t it. Enjoy your day off!

    1. 😍 We have a few, hopefully enough. Go figure, it’s hard to wrap gifts and take photos at the same time. 😉 But Norman was a champ and gained a number of new friends.

  3. I too would love to comply with the timeframe but with so much to do this week if I snooze I lose! I hope your fundraiser was successful; I can’t imagine how it could not have been with ambassador Norman nearby. Have a great week at the Ranch.

    1. Thanks Michael, it was fair but this weekend will likely be far better since Orvis is hosting a big promotion. Still, it was better than nothing and so many people enjoyed visiting Norman as did the staff. Don’t work too hard this week but make it a great one!

  4. Geoff, will second that! He’s back in the office three days a week and it’s Winter here, and hibernation season.
BTW so grateful for dogs on laps, and not so thankful for having to pick up Miss from McDonald’s after she’s finished closing around 11.30pm and then she’s off to get a stomach scan at 7.45 am. Ouch! I feel like chucking a sickie, but Geoff has enough on his plate.
I look forward to seeing the update on the sheepdogs.
    Best wishes,
    Ro

    1. Oh do I remember those late night pickups before my own kids could drive. You have my sympathies. Hope all is well.

    1. Here’s hoping the next two weeks are manageable in your household. Sending ‘pawsitive’ thoughts your way.
