Sam here…this is what I’ll look like when I get back from hospice later today. But it’s okay, I won’t mind a bit. People will make me feel better about my sore leg which is feeling MUCH better, thank you very much. I’ll make them smile by letting them flatten and smoosh my head. See…everyone wins.  Oh, the things I do to make people happy. 😉

  1. Sand Spring Chesapeakes – Cambria, WI – My husband and I have six "furry" children Gambler, Glory, Guilty, Slammer, Gertie and one cat Bones and two furangel's Norman and Nellie. We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.

  6. My Golden Life – Upstate South Carolina – I love animals, especially dogs. I enjoy US history, and reading biographies of our former presidents and other historical figures. I love the music of the '60s and '70s since I was growing up in those decades. I love the Beatles and Andy Williams equally.

    I have to laugh about Easy’s comment about Oliver! I grew up with poodles and never knew them to be anything but deliriously happy when someone patted them on the head. I think it was Oliver’s owner who was vain and insecure, not Oliver. 😂 Glad your sore leg is feeling much better, Sam!! Sending puppy love from all of us Golden Life girls.

      Sam’s is quite easy to flatten, but fluffs up fairly easy as well! I know all to well about poodle egos. When they’re clean and spiffed up, they are prancy little buggers. When dirty, they drag themselves like they have the weight of the world on those curly shoulders. 😉
