Monday Musings ~ July 27, 2026

Happy Monday, troops. Hope you had a lovely weekend. Hard to believe we’ve reached the last week in July. For us we’re just hanging on and ticking off the days until autumn arrives…which for those keeping track of these kinds of monumental happenings, is scheduled to land in 57 days. I know there are a lot of you groaning that summer will be leaving to soon but for some of us, it can’t happen soon enough. Between smoke and evacuations from wildfires to temperatures in the stratosphere, we’re looking forward to a change. But don’t start to worry yet, that’s not happening today and you still have time to ‘enjoy’ what’s left of the season. So let’s start this week with a smile, shall we?

We hope your coffee takes pity on you and you enjoy a miracle or two with lots of smiles this week. Happy Monday.

Live, love, bark! 🐾

Glad you enjoyed today’s smile. Yes, SD has lovely weather most of the year…plus there’s an ocean! Enjoy your time there. Hopefully by the time you go home, it’ll be nicer. 🤞🏼 Happy Monday.

  1. onespoiledcat – Virginia – We are Angel Sammy and Teddy......! Two ginger cats - one left for the Rainbow Bridge in December of 2016 (but still keeps in touch...) and the other in the "here and now" having lots of fun. Join us as we try to bring smiles to everyone around us with our blog.

What a great picture! My hair looks like that in the morning but Teddy is always neat and presentable (that’s not fair right?!). Anyway, hope these last weeks of Summer bring all of us less smoke, more rain (at least here – we’re desperate) and maybe some PEACE AND CALM otherwise?????

    Big Hugs, Pam and Teddy

The longer my hair gets, the more plastered down it looks when I wake up. I just think it looks like I was sleeping cockeyed. LOL Yes, we agree…less smoke, more rain and lower temps for the rest of summer! Happy Monday.

  2. Spring and fall are our favorite seasons, so we’re ready for fall too. It’s hot here. Just hot.

Some morning coffee just doesn’t do it.

I linked this post to Awww Mondays, as always.

Have a fabulous day and week. Love and hugs to you and lots of scritches to handsome Wilson. ♥

Autumn is definitely our most favorite season. I personally can’t wait until sweater weather arrives. This has been such a miserable summer and the countdown can’t arrive soon enough. We hope it’s a terrific Monday and an even better week for you and the fur kiddos. Happy Monday with many thanks for always adding us to your hop. Hugs and tail wiggles.

  3. Hang in there M! Hot out here in NorCal but I’m a heat lover. The girls are getting older and now sometimes choose the air conditioned house over being out with dad. Have a “cool” as possible week.

If you ate standing up, I’m told that calories fall out and don’t stick to your body, so you may be golden with ordering a sweet latte. 😂 Have a good Monday.
