Trust me…I sound like a crazy person mumbling, “this too shall pass” every waking minute. I’ll be glad when it’s sweater weather.

I just wish that would work on the weather! Happy Monday.

  3. I was out strimming today and Saturday. 34 C (93 F) today, but the show must go on… We have rain tomorrow and I asked the Alexa how much we gonna get – 0.3mm was the answer… And that is a 55% chance… 🙂

I am also an artist and I’ll share my current projects. Reading is my favorite hobby.

A true Saint indeed! Trying to sleep in the heat was the worst. I hated working outside. Remember when cars didn’t have A/C?

Yeah, I long for nights when I can open the windows. Last night it was still in the mid-80’s when I went to bed.

I have never taken AC in a car for granted since it wasn’t all that long ago that I didn’t have AC in the car. Now I do and feel like the luckiest person in the world. Happy Monday.

  5. Monika, we were hoping some of the cooler weather and rain would stop off at your place first, but apparently the person in charge didn’t get the memo. Two inches of rain overnight, and temperatures topping off at 80. Of course, the humidity is also 80…so it’s not like we’re all celebrating in the streets. To be sure, Mr. Carrier is an all-timer. Even with his ongoing assistance, perhaps a reboot of the weather is in order for your area. Hang in there and have a great Monday.

It was still 85 at 1:30 AM this morning! I think I’d kill for a high of 80 though I’ll pass on that humidity. Yikes! Wilson and I are counting down the days until we get through the Dog Days of Summer. We hope you have a mild Monday and an even better week, Bruce.

  6. We’re having a heatwave here too. It’s normal for us though. We have several each summer. I’m waiting for fall.

I linked this post to Awww Mondays.

Have a fabulous day and week. Stay cool. Big hug to mom and lots of scritches to handsome Wilson. ♥

Summer is hot here too but this year seems worse. Maybe because it’s just so dry. We’re counting down the days until sweater weather arrives. Happy Monday, dear Sandee. P.S. Many thanks for hooking us up on your blog hop-you’re the best.

HAHAHA! Thanks for the Monday morning giggle…..I think “resetting” the weather is a great idea. We had weeks of drought and last night had HOURS of severe rain storm, thunder, wind, etc. and so we think SOMEWHERE in the middle of the drought and flood is what we all want – – – – medium weather right? Right!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

It was the IT Dept. standard troubleshooting suggestion when I was working. Regrettably, it’s not as effective on the weather. At this point, I’d take whatever nature was willing to dole out. Mother Nature has been very stingy this summer. Happy Monday, Pam and Teddy!

Glad you enjoyed today’s smile. A reboot was our office IT Department first suggestion…with every single problem. I used to roll my eyes whenever they suggested it. I just wish it’d work with resetting this summer’s weather patterns. Have a super Monday!

While I love all dogs, I’m not all that keen about Cerberus or the other dogs of Hell. We walked in the dark this morning-it was nearly 80F before 5 AM and hadn’t cooled down much last night. It was 85 at 1:30 AM! Have a good week.

I wish I could send you some of our rain from the weekend! Geez!! And all I can say is thank God and Mr. Carrier for central air conditioning! But, as Eliza said, “hang in there.”

At this point I’d seriously consider selling my soul for some rain. We’re doing lots of thankfuls for Mr. Carrier this week (actually every week since March when the temperature first reached 90F on the 31st. We hop you have a terrific Monday (may it be dry) and a pawsome week!

I grew up without air conditioning so I remember how uncomfortable it could be. My first job didn’t have a good system. We wore very summery clothes (which I couldn’t do at later jobs because I’d freeze!). Sleeping was the worst.

Growing up we had swamp coolers and they were pretty effective (except for those long stretches when the temps were very high with little cool down at night. I was flabbergasted it was still in the mid 80’s at 1:30AM last night. We started our walk in the dark with a flashlight to avoid 80F. I’ll sure be glad when we get through the Dog Days of Summer. Looking forward to when we can open the windows at night again. Have a lovely Monday.

I find it particularly ironic that he bitches about the Ontario fires when so much of the U.S. is burning. You don’t hear about us moaning about smoke. Even while we fight ours I bet you anything we have still sent firefighters your way… smh…
