Is it just me or has this been an extra long week? Winter made a brief appearance this week but it’s little cousin, spring arrived again. What a joy to see tulips, daffodils, grape hyacinths and flowering trees shouting out…”I’m baaacckk.”! Such beautiful colors and a welcomed departure from dreary winter brown. Got any special plans for the weekend?
Live, love, bark! πΎ
We have nice warm weather finally!
Spring is bursting around here too.
Sounds pawsome.
We are finally seeing the earth again with some growth peaking upwards. 3 bum swings! 3 more!ππ±π±

Just Stopping in to bark hello!

I love coming down from the mountains at this time of year and seeing all the tulips blooming!!! We only have a few signs of spring but I am planting my veggie garden (with the cold-hardy stuff)! We get frosts into June!
I’ve not had great luck with tulips in the past, but planted some last fall and they are so pretty with the daffodils and grape hyacinths right now, I may plant some more! Have a great weekend. Enjoy the beautiful weather.
Last week was rough. Thank goodness it is over. Take care of your ankle.
Cheers to the sights of spring!
The spring season can often be fleeting in the Mile High. Here a day, then shoved out by its bully cousin, winter. After a high of 37 Tuesday, we’ll be close to 80F this weekend. Yo-yo weather!
… and my Reds have won 8 less games than your Rockies!
Ha…hard to believe! Give ’em a week or so. π
… to increase the differential!
To catch up. The Rocks are sure to descend to the basement. π
The race is on …. and my team is ahead!
We are such sick individuals, you know that, donβt you? LOL π
Oh, this weeks weather has been just FABulous! Butts next week promises to be hot again, and Ma frowns at that cause she wants it to stay Spring forevers!
I hopes you guys gets some warm FABulous weather in your hood this weekend!!!
Kisses,
Ruby β₯
It’ll be nearly 80 by tomorrow. Not looking forward to hot temps already. After a high of 37F Tuesday. Yikes!
We do have spring and I hope she stays. Winter is getting pretty old. The city is sweeping the streets….they think Spring is here too. I love the artsy picture of you as your header. Very aristocratic!

Thanks for the nice observation. We’re hoping spring lasts longer than a day or two. Spring here usually entails 6 days of nice weather, a couple day of winter interspersed and then moves immediately into the hot-as-hell season. Alas, spring is the short one. Enjoy your weekend!
Since we retired the weeks seem to fly by – weird huh?
hugs

And every day seems like Saturday. π
So glad the warmer weather is finally here. We’ve had a fair amount of rain, so everything is greening up. Hurray!
Oh, what I wouldn’t do for some rain. Heck I wouldn’t even mind a nice spring dump of snow at this point!
It could well be that winter finally got its act together and realised it’s supposed to be in this hemisphere – like Australia. Temperatures are starting to drop and it is getting a lot cooler ( not cold yet but getting there) You know, it says something about your mental attitude when you look forward to cold/ wet weather. It’s a worry…
I dunno…seems more practical and wise than anything else. π
Nap … nap … and more nap!
Oooh a nap sounds like a good thing, especially since the smoke alarm went off at 1:47 AM this morning. Smoke alarms and freaked out dogs is a bad combo for a good night’s sleep.
yep! I thought it was Friday on Wednesday lol
And I was hoping the same thing!
I thought Wednesday was Thursday, so I guess it has been a long week. Just mowed the grass (again), and the irises are wilting.
Some days I barely know hat month it is let alone what day. That tells me life is a bit overwhelming at a minimum.
We’re still waiting for flowers, but at least we’re getting warmer weather. It’s been raining for a couple days, but that will just help everything grow so that’s OK.
We’re off to visit the grandkids for the weekend!
Enjoy the grands! One of life’s great joys.
We’ve had some pleasant but cool weather. Next week we hit the 80s. Yay! Bring it on!
Sounds like it will be a nice change from winter who seems to have overstayed his visit nearly everywhere. Enjoy!
I almost feel hesitant to say the word . . spring. But I think . . I think I am safe.
He said before a last minute, hanging on by its mittens winter squall blew in. Yeah, been there, done that, earned the parka! 𧀠Enjoy the weekend.
Hahaha!
Here’s to spring fever!
π
I agree that it has been a long week but that’s because I’m excited for two concerts this weekend! π It’s been a while since I’ve been able to travel. And this weekend is a much needed break from Benelli! π
Even huMoms need a break from their {fur}kids. Have a great weekend.
Thank you! And I agree! We had an amazing time! π
I am so glad Friday is *finally* here. Bring on the weekend! XOXO – Bacon
The earth did seem to spin a little slower this week. But we too are getting some fabulous spring weather. Can you say shirts abound flip flops? Earlier this year I connected a close friend in the Bay Area with my Rescue group and they adopted a puppy. They will be up with the pup for a visit Sunday. I feel like a little kid excited to meet this 5 month old Golden Retriever who is coming up for a meet and greet with my girls. Even better next month my girls will be puppy sitting this same pup for eight days while my friends are away on vacation. They may have to fight me, um… er., I mean fight the girls to get him back. π. Have a glorious weekend at The Ranch!
I’ve just been enjoying a blog showing spring in Essex, in England…a lovely bluebell wood was part of it and I remember how much I used to enjoy walking through woods like that.
Springtime in England…how exquisite those colors must be. Have a marvelous weekend!
I will try to heal my strained ankle… I’m so glad this horrible week is over… and I hope the horrible weather too… but I’m a happy camper , if I would cry the weather would be horrible anyway, right?
Oh no, sorry to hear of your ankle woes. Please feel better soon. Spring is out there someplace to e enjoyed. Ear scratches for da Phenny.
