Monday Musings ~ August 3, 2020

Oi, how long does a mate have to wear this hat before he gets a treat, mum?

Live, love, bark! 🐾

    1. Only 2?! You must be another one of those mums who watches how much their fur kids eat. 🀣
      Your fur-iend,
      Norman 🐾

  1. Norman you are ROCKING that hat – I have to think that a treat was forthcoming IMMEDIATELY if not sooner!!

    Hugs, Teddy

    1. Mum is a bit slow on treat dispensing (and a number of other things if I’m truthful). πŸ˜†

    1. She runs out of the room whenever mum brings out headgear. I think she’s more afraid than anything else of fashion accessories.

  2. Dude, you needs to learn to flip it off your head FAST, so treaties are dispensed just as fast as a distraction! That is my secret! You gots to train your Moms better dude….

    1. I’m trying Ruby, really, but when she starts laughing, it’s actually pretty entertaining. πŸ˜†

    1. It sure is, mum is already looking in her fabric bin to see what other fabric she can wrap around it. Mums sure are weird, aren’t they?

    1. Thanks. I just wish mum would reward my dapper looks and patient posing. πŸ˜‰

    1. Kiitos, Kosmo. I may be handsome but mum should promptly reward me for being such a good boy while she laughs at me. 😊

  3. My DogParents are always putting hats on me. I feel your pain, Norm. Sometimes I think it’s not worth it, not even for the treats. Then I re-think my position and decide it is indeed worth it for the treats.πŸ—πŸ₯©πŸ₯ŸπŸ§€πŸ¦πŸ₯§πŸ₯‘πŸ‰πŸ†

    1. Treats and ear rubs…make being a dog with parents far more palatable, don’t they Max. I feel your pain, mate. At least mum hasn’t starting buying clothes for me.

  4. That hat is absolutely precious! I wouldn’t be able to wait long at all before rewarding you with a treat for being so cute… Our pups know that and take advantage of it all the time lol

    1. Thanks for swinging by-we πŸ’™ visitors. He’s such a good boy and ever so patient. I delay treats because I’m laughing so hard when he’s dressed up and he just looks at me so earnestly.

  5. You’re so handsome, Norman. I’ll give you a treat right now.

Have a woof woof day, Norman. My best to Elsa and your wonderful mom. β™₯

    1. Thank you, my lady. Treats are always gratefully welcome. Mum, Elsa and I wish you a pawsome week!

  6. you hipster! Where’d you get that too small hat? I could see you on the shores of key west playing a guitar for tips

    1. Sweet kitty, so kind of you to share. Mum needs to get on the ball and start passing the treats out!

    1. Thanks, Cupcake. You’d think being dapper would get the treats flowing quicker. Sadly mum is becoming stingy.

        1. Mum is way too slow for a good dog like me. One who expects treats for just being cute, let alone letting her dress me up. She put a hockey jersey on me over the weekend and it seemed like ages before I received a proper treat. Course she practically needed oxygen from laughing hysterically. Not sure what that’s all about, I thought I looked good as a Hall of Fame netminder (#33), but she just laughed and laughed and laughed before the treats FINALLY were dispensed. Sheesh!

            1. I keep telling her that. She keeps laughing for ages before rewarding my patience. Can you imagine how much drool I’ve lost during these photoshoots?

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but no growling please.
