Looks like the vote is in and Blogville has spoken! Hi there, Sam here. Unlike a few incumbent candidates who lost primaries this week, I, on the other hand, managed to get my worthy message out directly to the people and they agreed with me.

Mom said the count wasn’t even close, you all thought I deserved treats. She’s been sighing a lot since counting up the votes but I’m as happy as a clam at hide tide. You guys rock! Thanks so much for believing in my plea campaign for equality when it comes to the treat dispensing on our training sessions. When I excitedly told Elsa, she shrugged her shoulders and said. “pfft…I’m still mom’s favorite.” But you and I know better, don’t we? 

Thank you for all the fur-bulous comments. I am basking in your empathy good judgment. Let’s get the celebration started and quickly move on toward Friday. You with me? I promise not to upend anyone.

  4. As long as Elsa gets her treaties too, I am all for it! (you knows us wacky gurls gotta stick togethers!!!!) Dude, you do that to your Moms too??? I run through her leggies at full speed while she scratches my back! It’s an Airedale thing, I thinks (I’ve seen other Airedales to it too…yes, we are a WEIRD breed…heheheee) Just don’t try and do it while the peeps are walking, they are VERY uncoordinated! BOL!

  12. Sand Spring Chesapeakes – Cambria, WI – My husband and I have six "furry" children Gambler, Glory, Guilty, Slammer, Gertie and one cat Bones and two furangel's Norman and Nellie. We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.

  19. I had to laugh at the photo. Every morning when I’m getting ready for work, I have to straddle a lab. LOL Yesterday, I was leaning into the sink with one foot up in the air to be able to manage. It can also be challenging getting dressed or using the toilet, as someone doesn’t seem to get how difficult it is to manage pants when there is a full-grown dog between your legs.

    Go get some more treats.
