Monday Musings ~ August 19, 2019

Welcome to Monday, August 19, 2019. School districts all over the country are starting up the fall session which means we better keep our eyes open for little sprouts heading back to “reading, writing and ‘rithmetic.” Hope you enjoyed a nice weekend and are ready to take on a fresh new week. Pass It On

Hope today’s meme resonates as much with you and it did with me. Here’s to making a difference.

Live, love, bark! 🐾

  1. Our schools started last week. I wonder what age goes from loving school to hating school. For me, I think it was 4th grade maybe? I love the meme. I admit that a lot of the time, I don’t bother because I don’t think I, as one person, can make a difference. But that’s probably laziness talking.

    1. You gotta just eat that elephant one bite at a time. We can all make small changes which will add up to big differences. 😊

  2. What a fabulous quote from Jane Goodall. Recently I have questioned myself & my motivation…..this quote has put me back on right track!
    Thanks Monika!

  3. Today’s meme made me think of Buster, and what happens when he stands in the middle of the road like that. I hope that made a difference in someone’s life…

  4. Great meme!!
School starts Thursday! Last year for my “baby!” Mixed emotions this year for sure. Seems so hard to believe that Thursday will be the LAST First day of school where we eat breakfast and take the yearly first day of school photo. Where did the time go!!

    1. Oh gosh, that’s a big moment for sure. Here’s hoping the last year is the best.

  5. That is a fabulous meme, and not just with respect to the kiddos. It is something we all should consider in all of our relationships. Have a great week.

    1. So true, but whatever happened to Labor Day being the ‘back to school’ moment. *sigh*

    1. Luckily it’s only 32 days left to the arrival of autumn. Less until school starts for all French children.

    1. I concur with your sage opinion and ever grateful to not be in school this day and age.

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but no growling please.
