What thank you, sweet kitty and Mum. That was just outside St. Maarten island. It’s such a beautiful place. I know Tahiti is too but that plane trip getting there is too long for me! Happy Friday.
Mother Nature’s balance is on display at her very best in that picture, Monika. We kinda had the same here yesterday with a storm coming in. Sun was shining underneath a huge, dark grey cloud. Happy Wednesday!
The whole week has been somewhat of a test. When I came across this image, it seemed to say there’s sunshine behind this cloud and storm soon. Thank heavens!

Mew mew mew……
I think you’re right on both counts.
Like waking up after a bad dream …
There are elements of bad dream syndrome in that photo…along with hope that the sun will win the battle between it and the storm.
That is a totally stunning photo……….stirs up a lot of emotion……..
Hugs, Pam
Thank you. I was in the right place at the right time that day.
I always thought there was a lot of life being mirrored in that image. Some good, some not so good and lots of possibilities in between.
That’s a once in a lifetime shot. Wow!
Thanks so much. I was in the ‘right place at the right time’ kind of lucky!
WOW! That is a fantastic capture. Two worlds, colliding!
Thank you! It was some serious ying/yang action going on.
You got that right!
I have not seen a photo that dramatic in ages. Wonderful.
Why thank you! Appreciate the kind words.
Stunning!!!
Thank you! The Caribbean is such a beautiful place.
Oh wow! That is positively gorgeous!
Thank you-that’s exceptionally kind of you. Does nature know how to deal out some kind of amazing or what?
Hey. You know I speak the truth! Nature is the best artist.
She sure seems to know what looks best and what goes well with what-no doubt about that!
She definitely does not need a professional helper 😉
No set dressers for her!
No need. She’s got this!
Uh oh. Monsoon coming.
Hope springs eternal.

Those kinds of scenes always take my breath away. Happy mid-week, Bruce.
An amazing picture of the beauty of nature!
How bright is the sun after a storm and that includes the storms in our lives.
Thank you. Sun following a storm definitely helps handle rough waters or rough days.

Many thanks, sweet kitty. Argh…can’t believe I labeled it Monday. Ugh. Thanks for letting me know. 💙
What a beautiful shot. Mother Nature is most wonderful.
I linked this post to Wordless Wednesday.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the pups, a smooch to Norman and a big hug to mom. ♥
She definitely knows when to share some sunshine after a storm.
Lulu: “Here comes the sun!”
Java Bean: “Or maybe there goes the sun?”
Lulu: “Well, whichever, it’s on the move somewhere!”
Nature knows just when to make it appear after a storm.
So beautiful!
Thanks, Dorothy; it was the end of a perfect day in St. Maarten.
Peaceful.
I loved the interplay between stormy and sunny. Nature is quite the choreographer, isn’t she?
Yes indeed
I do hope that cloud lifts soon…sounds as if you could do with the sunshine at the moment.
There’ll always be sunshine at some point.
Is this a test? It is Wednesday right? 😉

even behind the darkest cloud is light ;O)
Absolutely!
