The Mom: Hey Elsa, you ever wonder how things would be if our roles were reversed?
Elsa: Wait…what? You mean you’re the Master? Nah, nah, nah…I’m not sure what kind of drugs you’re on Mom, but you need to detox. We both know who runs things. Thumb or no thumb, notwithstanding.
The Mom: Sigh. What can you do when you live with a Ninja?
Here’s hoping all the roles in your household are clearly defined and where appropriate, the detox goes well this week. Happy Monday.
Live, love, bark! 🐾
And here I thought only cats believed they were the master…
Well now they have competition. BOL
~Elsa 🐾
MOL…You Go Girl🐶😹Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day to you and your mommy too🐾😽💞
Thanks for the encouragement-just what I need! 😻
Your fur-iend,
Elsa 🐾
We had a hitch last week where NO ONE was listening to me. Things have settled back, though, with the pups allowing me to believe I’m still in charge. Detox?
Hard to believe no one listened to you! What the dog?
Right?!
Charlee: “Of course, we cats know who the REAL masters are, don’t we?”
Chaplin: “Shhhh.”
I’ll just bet you do! Hope you guys are okay after the hurricane hit.
Elsa, it’s National Dog Day later this week … show your stuff, you obviously know how!
Woohoo…a day to celebrate me. Can’t wait!
Your fur-iend,
Elsa 🐾
Our pets are considerate enough to let us believe we are in charge. Well, most of the time anyways.
No kidding. When it suits them, I might add. 😉
Humans just LIKE to think they’re in charge but reality tells us that simply is NOT TRUE!!
Hugs, Pam
Boy, you got that right! But that’s ok. I’m {mostly} good with that. 😉
Dalton would surely oust the Dad…if he really was in charge…hah!
He still growls at him, even if he just walks past…and sometimes hackles are UP. Poor dog with all of his baggage, I wish he would let someone else be in charge of all that heavy duty baggage…he wold benefit from a light load.
That was a cute cartoon!
Glad you enjoyed it. Sweet Dalton…Elsa being a puppy mill survivor has her baggage but is {mostly} aloof. I had hoped she would have changed by now but alas, she just didn’t get socialized as a puppy. Still she’s come a long ways in the nearly 7 years she’s been with me. I let her get away with thinking she’s in charge so long as she doesn’t bully. Now that she’s a single dog, she’s kind of morphed into a new dog as she adapts to it. I think of her as a bit of a work in progress kind of dog. 😉
Such a beautiful collection of color this week…but I do believe seeing “Groot” was my favorite!
Thank you. Seeing him was such a lucky find. 😊
Oh yes….the girl have me trained well LOL
Girls in particular have that ability I think!
PEANUTSS my all-time FAVE Comic Monika & Elsa….I used to think I was the Master/Mistress…..
What I learned is I was 150% WRONG! I only figured that out about 10 years ago….ROFL 🙂
Who needs thumbs to rule right?
HAHAHA BellaSita Mum an ***purrss*** BellaDharma
We tell ourselves…if only to ease our egos. 🤣
I remember reading a joke some time ago, where a caller phoned and asked to speak to the person who runs the house – so, she handed the phone to her dog.
Hahaha! Good one, John. And so true around our house. Happy Monday.
Yep. Who feeds whom? Who jumps up to open the door when the dog barks? Don’t be so sure about who is the boss.
Trust me, she and I both know who’s in charge! 😂
The Z Kids need snoopervising nearly 24/7; but once in a while I let them take turns at being in charge.
A flash of those puppy eyes and I’d be a goner too. 😆
Hehe, esp. if one has cats! 😉
Ha, perhaps I don’t have it so bad after all. 😂
There was never any doubt about who is in charge of the household here. Zoe has the rest of us running in circles trying to meet her many demands.
Just like all girl dogs 🤣 Demanding and relentless.
Thanks for the grins, Monika …. Have a good week. Cheers … clink!
Our pleasure. Have a pawtastic week!
Ha ha that’s the problem we are having with our Rollo. I’ve come to realize I am his favorite servant.
Welcome to my world. 🤣
Haha!😂 What a funny thought, to think we are actually the Master of our pets. My daughter took her Princess Yorkie out 5x this morning! LOL! Happy Monday!
Oh yeah, we “owners” are merely window dressing. 😂
Yup!
Yes, dogs feel they are superior but in reality we parrots rle.
Pets always rule…whether they fly or walk.
luckily milo takes turns being in charge. Sometimes on walks he puts his feet down and directs us. But other times he defers to the big dogs… and it’s working for us
The four-legged sect are always in control. One way or another. Happy Monday.
You made me laugh out loud. Perception. Love this.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays as usual.
Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Elsa. ♥
As always, Thank you for linking us to your post. You’re too kind. Even she who shall remain nameless approves. LOL Happy Monday, Sandee.
Great reminder!
We know our place as ‘paw-rents.’ 😆
The roles at the Golden K are clear as mud. It’s a daily struggle to be in charge… 😉
No point fighting it, I say, Mike. 😆
We furs handle the rules for the most part, but sometimes we let Mom think she is in charge of us.
I think that’s likely the case in most households. My some days, I truly have to wonder. 😆
Thank you for the morning giggle!!
Happy to provide your week with a smile. 😊
We know our place…well under the paw.
You’re probably right, I’ve just been kidding myself all these years. 😊 Happy Monday, Helen.
we are totally with elsa and snoopey.. ha! that would be a crazy time, right?
Sometimes I wonder if it would be all that much different. LOL
No kidding! Hope you’re properly in charge of this Monday.
We fool ourselves if we think we are the master of our four-leggeds!
Happy Monday and week to you!
