Hello friends, I’m a bit late to this party, I could not let an opportunity to share the news of someone who’s been a good friend of the Ranch and introduce you to his new blog despite being tardy. Let me just say this seasoned blogger knows how to serve up a tasty post.

Allow me to dish up the inaugural post from our friend, Frank, he of the former “AFrankAngle fame.” Frank thought he was done blogging but then realized he had another voice where he could showcase his “Beach Walk Reflections” posts on a new blog. His insight and thoughtful prose is definitely worth a check out, so please drop by. Frank also has some of the cleverest followers and everyone will leave you with a good feeling with thoughtful observations at a time when we need it the most.       1. I hope Miami can hold onto Fitz, and if not I wish him well wherever he goes and want him back some day in a coaching capacity if he goes that way. Smart Harvard graduate dude who gets it, and is a human being, and the players love him. I think he would make an excellent coach.

        That said, I was somewhat surprised at the timing of Tua, but in Flores I trust. He’s not afraid to do what he feels is right for the team. And I don’t think this decision will be proven correct as per wins and losses, not exclusively anyway. If Tua can stay healthy and upright and show progress, it’s a win in my book.

  11. John W. Howell – South Texas Gulf Coast – I have been working in business for over forty years and now have the time to work in special areas of interest. My passion has always been to create compelling stories of fiction. I have authored six novels and am working on my Seventh. The first novel is still in manuscript form and being utilized as a door stop in the laundry room. The second is a contemporary fiction novel of 89,000 words and is complete and I am currently seeking a publisher. I also write poetry but have not had the guts to share any with anyone. The one time I read a piece to a person their only comment was, “it doesn’t rhyme.” I will continue to write and hopefully my blog, Fiction Favorites at www.johnwhowell.com will provide some entertainment and an interesting thought or two. I live in the Austin area with my wife Molly and an assortment of loving pets.

    Oh gosh…..the beach sounds got to me. It’s why we always get a room in the Inn where we stay in Maine for our yearly vacation where we can hear that magical sound all the time. We sure missed our trip this year. Anyway, I took the beach for granted when I lived in Florida in my 20s….I had to age a bit to really appreciate how awesome a walk along the beach at sunset or sunrise can be. Thanks for the blog intro!!
