Praying for Peace in Ukraine ~ March 26, 2022

Peace

This weekend, like so many others around Blogville, we join the “Blog for Peace” blog hop hosted by Mimi Lenox from BlogBlast4Peace. Every day we wince and shed tears for the people and pets of Ukraine as they defend themselves from the Russian invasion. The images coming out of Ukraine have been absolutely heartbreaking, especially when you see families walking to train stations, dragging a piece of luggage while carrying their pets, as they flee the bombing of their hometowns.

    1. 💙💛💙💛 Indeed. War is so stupid but this one is even more so. Stupid and cruel.

    1. These people are willing to die for their country, something far more important than pocketbooks. They are inspiring the world to stand for something to treasure-their sovereignty and freedom from tyranny.

      1. I agree. What I meant to say is I understand why we are all paying more for our gas and I’m certainly not going to complain about it. It’s hard to imagine the millions of people who have already had to flee their own country to save their and their family’s lives, as well as the thousands of innocents already killed. My heart goes out to them all.

    1. Thanks, Pam. the plight of Ukraine has captivated the world and we hope the war will end soon.

    1. Moving and yet so heartbreaking. The compassion and love they have shown for their pets has been overwhelmingly inspiring.

  1. Oh my goodness! I love everything about this post – your banner, your glorious dogs, your peace globe……….made me smile and lifted my heart. Hug your puppies. I wish I had some. Smiles.

    1. Thank you for the kind words. And thank you for swinging by the “Ranch;” we 💙 visitors.

    1. We sure do stand tall for Ukraine. What they are enduring is absolutely heartbreaking.

    1. Many thanks, Ann. This war has brought such unnecessary pain to the people of Ukraine. 💔

    1. Thanks, Marc. They’re as heartsick as I am about what’s been going on this past month.

Feel free to bark your thoughts...but no growling please.
