“There never was a good war or a bad peace.”
-Benjamin Franklin
This weekend, like so many others around Blogville, we join the “Blog for Peace” blog hop hosted by Mimi Lenox from BlogBlast4Peace. Every day we wince and shed tears for the people and pets of Ukraine as they defend themselves from the Russian invasion. The images coming out of Ukraine have been absolutely heartbreaking, especially when you see families walking to train stations, dragging a piece of luggage while carrying their pets, as they flee the bombing of their hometowns.

We hope you will do your part and promote peace by helping the Ukrainians any way you are able.
Live, love, bark! 🐾
we pray for peace every day
💙💛💙💛 Indeed. War is so stupid but this one is even more so. Stupid and cruel.
Every little bit counts.
Hope springs eternal. 💙💛💙💛
That it does. 💙💛💙💛
You are being too optimistic. Humans will never get it together.
Hope springs eternal.
Don’t know what there is to do except pray…and not complain about the higher gas prices. Thanks for Blogging for Peace, Monika.
These people are willing to die for their country, something far more important than pocketbooks. They are inspiring the world to stand for something to treasure-their sovereignty and freedom from tyranny.
I agree. What I meant to say is I understand why we are all paying more for our gas and I’m certainly not going to complain about it. It’s hard to imagine the millions of people who have already had to flee their own country to save their and their family’s lives, as well as the thousands of innocents already killed. My heart goes out to them all.
Understood. We feel the same.
Good of you to do this!
Thank you. 💙 💛
Most welcome🤗🤗

So moving, to see people carrying their pets to safety.
Moving and yet so heartbreaking. The compassion and love they have shown for their pets has been overwhelmingly inspiring.
