    1. Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Wilson slays me when he does this ‘wheels up’ pose. He knows he’s not supposed to be on the sofa but he’s so darn cute I can’t help but chuckle when he does. Anyway, I gotta give him props for being so relaxed about life and applaud his approach to chillaxing. We can all learn a thing or two from our pups about living in the moment, can’t we? 🥰

    1. Glad you enjoyed the Monday smile. Wilson is big on naps-I think he’s contemplating the complexities of life before tackling his day. 😂

    1. That’s likely a part of his strategy…but mostly I think he just enjoys testing the rule of no dogs on furniture. 😂

  1. Oh Wilson, same here! Definitely felt like you today. LOL!
Happy Monday, before its gone in 20 minutes here. 😂 Hope you and your Mum had a relaxing one! Looks like you did! 😉

    1. It’s always good starting out any day with a snooze, you know…just to get a handle on a complex world. 😊

And for the record, we had a wagnificent weekend. Family came to town, the weather was ‘pawfect’ and we enjoyed a tasty BBQ on the new grill. All in all, a terrific success!

                1. Everyone says they have the bestest, smartest dog. And they’re all correct. 😊

    1. So glad you enjoyed today’s smile. Wilson is a master of the inspirational nap. We hope you’re well. Have a fantastic week.

    1. Thanks Terry and kitties. You guys probably could show me a thing or two when it comes to napping! Hope it’s been a pawsome Monday.

    1. On warm days in particular, naps are 100% necessary. Us dogs need naps to ponder the the complexities of life. We hope you’ve had a great Monday!

    1. That’s what Wilson thinks…no point rushing things. Hahaha. Happy Monday.

    1. Glad you enjoyed today’s silliness. Still napping is a great way to start out the week. Hope it’s been a great Monday for you.

    1. 😉 Thanks John. He sleeps like that a lot even though the rule is no dogs on the furniture. LOL Silly boy.

    1. Hahaha, Dan. Wilson would likely love that idea, though I’m sure at some point in his snooze, he’d be on top of you, since he thinks of himself as a canine quilt. Great in the winter but with warmer temps…ummm, no thank you! Enjoy a motivational Monday.

        1. Sorry, I had to chuckle about the ‘pillows.’ Mostly he’s just incredibly heavy and you can’t move. Dogs sure know how to ‘burrito’ their parents, don’t they? Happy Monday, Dan.

    1. The better to power nap by…plus it keeps the sofa relatively clean which is becoming increasingly necessary since ‘somebody’ seems to have forgotten the “no dogs on the furniture” rule lately. LOL Happy Monday.

  2. I feel the same way, Wilson. You’re so handsome.

I linked this post to Awww Mondays.

Have a woof woof day and week. A big hug to mom and lots of scritches to you. ♥

    1. Thanks, Sandee. And thanks for linking us to your Monday blog. You’re the best. Hugs and tail wiggles (in between a few) 💤. Happy Monday.

    1. Ha! Aty our pace…we just might be ready. Then again…Happy Monday, Tom & Reiko.

  3. Staying motivated has become a problem of late, but we’ll give it a try.
Love your tulip painting. Our Austrian copper roses are getting ready to bloom. Even ridiculously early, Spring lifts the spirits!

    1. Aww, thanks, Amy. After the crummy winter we’ve had, emerging spring does lift the spirits but oy…I’m very worried about summer. Wilson takes his motivational snoozes one Z💤 at a time. Have a happy Monday.

    1. Many thanks! Nothing like a good power nap, eh? P.S. So happy the Habs pulled out the win over Tampa Bay yesterday. Talk about warming my heart. 💞 Have a great Monday and week!

      1. I wish I could nap. And yes! Got home at 7:30 just in time to see the end of the 3rd and that beauty of a goal! 💞
May your Monday be wagnificent and the week wagging tails of good!

        1. Naps are a good way to get through the day…especially as you get older. I usually enjoy one around 7:30 PM and then wonder why I can’t sleep after 1 AM!! LOL Enjoy a furbulous Monday and week!

            1. Trust me…they aren’t deliberate. When you get maybe 5-6 hrs of sleep total, and get up before 5, the ole body just kinda crashes on the sofa.

                1. 6 is paradise and pretty optimistic! Nothing like staying up until all hours of the night watching old Murder She Wrote reruns after waking up 😬

  4. I’m guessing it was not by chance that Wilson blends right in with the decor around him. He’s kind of camouflaged within his snooze zone. I love all the colors including his! I wish I could “motivate” today but I’ve got too much to do. 🤓. Have a great week at the [are you still calling it the ranch?]….

    1. LOL, I just realized my default color around the house tends to be grey with pops of color here and there.

I’ve started thinking the “Ranch” has morphed into a “Barn” since the new house is a two story. It’s kind of keeping with a similar architectural vernacular though “Barn Hands” doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue. Here’s hoping the motivation starts a steady build up for a pawsome week.

    1. Thanks, Helen and happy Monday to you and the Thugs. Sometimes you just have to ease into Mondays.

    1. Wilson loves starting the day with a good power nap…after breakfast of course. Here’s hoping all your naps this week are wagnificent!
