Outstanding! We may need to replace one seedling tree that didn’t make it through a dry windy winter. I mourn the loss of trees, you and old. People don’t realize how valuable they truly are to keep things balanced.
The original event was cancelled due to the snow storm but I still avoid going anywhere near the park where the ‘festivities’ are held. Hey, my mom didn’t raise an ordinary fool! π
Yep, that view is from across the street, but they were both nibbling around in the lupines. And we’re only 3 miles from the center of downtown Denver! Guess they must have been hungry…or lost. π
I think they inadvertently came up from the Platte River that cuts through town talking a wrong turn. Only saw them on a couple different days. Traffic is so bad these days going into downtown, I hope they don’t venture up the hill again soon, especially with fawns.
great earth day photos, I planted a tree for earth day.

We had grey, cloudy skies and rain yesterday, so the girls mostly napped all day. Even Ducky.
Nothing quite like a cloudy skies to lull you into a good snooze. After all the back-breaking work in the sun, we wish for some of that soon! α¦
I’m part of the earth so I accept my best wishes.
We celebrated Earth Day by getting muddy!
Your Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Way to go guys!
Happy Earth Day! (hope you Coloradans survived 4/20, btw) π

Happy Earth Day buddy!! XOXO – Bacon
You as well, Bacon!
Beautiful garden! It’s raining here, but we really need it. So, it is a good earth day!
Thank you. The rain and snow makes for terrific lupines; hope you receive exactly what you need for your slice of earth. π
The deer come THAT close to your house/porch??!! WOW! We do have them in our garden, too, but never that close.
Have a great weekend,
Pit

We’re about 3 miles from the centre, tooo, but then Fredericksburg is a small town. We have seen deer in gardens downtown, though.

Keeping my fingers crossed. For ours here, too.
did you adopt a deer?
Sam wanted to but they declined and skedaddled. π
