After our busy and hot weekend, I definitely went back to work to get some rest, though there will be little of that I suspect. What is the expression, no rest for the wicked and the righteous don’t need it. The only question then is which one am I? 🙂
Have yourself a splendid week but go easy on the Redbull.
Live, Love, Bark! <3
I need some redbull I am so far behind on my readings of blogs.
But you have the perfect excuse – PUPPIES!! so it’s ok to be behind. 😉
Maybe you need to make your weekends 5 days long and your work weeks 2 days long. 🙂
What a terrific suggestion! I hope they go for it. 😉
Now you tell me to go easy on the Red Bull? Lol!
I can see you snoring from here.
Ha! I’ll be needing a 6-pack of beer to come off that buzz!
OMP! That explains everything. You know like how moms can see everything and be everywhere at the same time – and don’t forget having eyes in the back of their head. They drink Redbull in their coffee. Thank you my friend for telling me this. Snorts – missed you last week. XOXO – Bacon
Thanks, Bacon. It was a very busy week and looks to continue this and the following week but I’ll try to stay in better touch. 😉
oh my friend – I understand completely. It has been so busy around here… mommy Smartypants has been doing things you wouldn’t believe! XOXO – Bacon
We just got back from a long car trip. I am not sure Cole slept the whole time because when we got home he fell into an exhausted sleep. Little does he know a bath is a comin’
🙂 Poor Cole. Give him a big ear scratch from Sam and me.
that’s true… if you mix it with champagne you have the same effect and you are sleepless for 87 days… but it’s probably not good to start a day with such a mix :o)
Oooh, I like that idea! May actually give that one a shot (pun intended)! 🙂
My Mom always said the expression was “no rest for the weary”. And since I’ve been awake for over half an hour after only going to sleep a little over four hours ago, I have to agree. The dogs are all sound asleep. I wish I still was! Have a great week!
It always amazes me how dogs are able to easily sleep. I wish I were more like Sam in that regard. I envy his ability to rest.
Amen, Sista! Ducky is asleep again — after her first morning pee and greeting her Daddy — on her little mat in front of the couch. She looks so cute with her one ear standing straight up and the other one kinda flopping over. You’d never know what a (sweet) little demon she can be just by watching her sleep. LOL
Oh the one ear flop look – gah! Way too adorable. It’s what makes us forget the 4 legged demons at times. 😉
Amen to that! Sleep never eludes Kali, me not so much. I get my 2:00 am “wake up call” and lay awake thinking for an hour or two finally quietly stepping over Kali when I get up for a drink of water and mental reboot in an effort to fall back asleep. So much too learn from Kali…. I’m just not a very good student. I always enjoy your posts; thx.
Thanks, Michael. Yeah, sleep never eludes dogs and they don’t know how to worry or fret. We’d all do well to emulate them more. 🙂
