Happy Friday, campers! As you ‘paddle’ toward this ‘howliday’ weekend, we hope your first weekend of September is terrific.  With forecasters calling for a lot of the liquid stuff around the country, we here at the Ranch hope you stay as safe and dry as ‘pawsible.’

  1. ruth7933 – I am retired and am full time care giver to my husband who is a disabled Nam Vet with dementia, heart disease, and is an insulin dependent diabetic. I am mother to a grown son, three grown grand children and a beautiful 7 month old great grand daughter. I live with reoccurring MS and myalgia of the lower extremities. Hobbies include being active in the local rock painting group and we hide them all over the county and give hints to where they are hid on our face book page, for other folks to find them. I am also learning how to use my iPhone 7 and iPad. My husband and I are active in 12 step programs and have been clean and sober for many years. We share our lives with a pair of love birds and a guinea pig with an attitude.

  3. My Golden Life – Upstate South Carolina – I love animals, especially dogs. I enjoy US history, and reading biographies of our former presidents and other historical figures. I love the music of the '60s and '70s since I was growing up in those decades. I love the Beatles and Andy Williams equally.

    The weather here has been unpredictable lately; but we’ll take cool cloudy days over sunny, hot and humid ones! We played in the yard most of the morning. Tomorrow? Who knows? We’ll enjoy it somehow.

  7. Sand Spring Chesapeakes – Cambria, WI – My husband and I have six "furry" children Gambler, Glory, Guilty, Slammer, Gertie and one cat Bones and two furangel's Norman and Nellie. We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.

    A great long weekend sounded awesome – extra snuggles and writing time. However, mom has to pull in some extra time at work to get caught up on some financial stuff.   12. Little Miss Titch – UK – I'm Titch, I'm female Rex cross Lop whos following Angel Speedy Down his Rabbit Hole. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge 19/05/2021. And was a male Himalayan Rex Rabbit who wasn't afraid of any thing. A pirate and Buccaneer and Captain of the SS.Speedy ,and was a knight of the realm with his own kingdom of Speedom. I loved getting into scrapes and having fun which has been passed down to me. So my Mum wanted to share my adventures with everyone so that everybody can love me too! I would love for you to share your stories with me about your rabbits and other pets too! My mum has had other Bunnies before me,one called Thumper who was a black and white Dutch and another one called Caramel who was a caramel coloured lop both went to the Rainbow Bridge a long time ago. Together we also write my Wild Hedgehog Diary and Bird the Jackdaw, an interesting read to check out about the comings and goings of these little visitors to my Garden.
