Monday Musings ~ June 18, 2018

Hope you had a ‘wagnificent’ weekend. Best wishes for a week that doesn’t have too high of a hill to climb.

Live, love, bark! đŸŸ

Plan to. A cool front (70’s) moved in and left a little shower this morning. Woo-hoo! Feels so good not to be a sweaty hot mess.

We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.

  10. CC – Cristina is Italian born, and though she has lived most of her life all over the U.S. she considers herself Italian...she just can't speak it very well! As with many other things, she is working on that (although it's a bit harder the older she gets). Still, there are just so many hours in a day. After leaving the lovely climes of Southern California she went to the heat, humidity, and insect-infested state of Alabama. She struggled for five years to be a "big girl" amidst the crickets-on-steroids, the snakes, scorpions, and other creepy crawlers of the day (and night!). It really is true what they say; "It's a jungle out there!" After another stint in Northern Virginia she is trying once again to find a new normal (as well as some bliss) in her new state, Florida. Cristina is happily married to a loving husband and has two grown children. Her medium-standard poodle love crossed the rainbow bridge in 2023 but he remains forever in her heart.
    Cristina Crawford says:

We still have a kitchen remodel taking place. All the banging, drilling, and total upheaval in the house has us all (The Poodle included) in a tizzy. It’s a first world problem
.not complaining. I cannot say the same for The Poodle. For one, he is mighty annoyed that his food dish has moved to the basement. 🙃
