Curiosity…I like that reference. Sounds so much better than creepy! It was a water feature in Aachen, Germany’s city center celebrating theater in general 🎭
Okays, Ma is stuck between cool and creepy….hasn’t decided which yets BOL! And Ma can’t imagine how hard that fountain would be to clean ☺

We have some carved heads…from Leo’s father’s time in the Congo.
When we had French artisans round to quote for work we used to use the electrician and plumber remark on them…if they smiled, they got the job.
Oh, it’s masks! I thought it was a petrified head collection of people who upset the Ninja !!
Hahaha! Judging by all the creeped out comments, you’d think that, wouldn’t you? 🤣
Does it attract the birds? That should be the first question…
It’s definitely got personality!
Only tourists. 😁
Hahaha 😂🤣
We think we need words to know more about this curiosity!

What a super bird bath-I want one.
You’d be one of a very few apparently.
I’m with the that’s creepy crowd. Thanks for starting my day with a shudder, LOL.
Shudders or smiles, guess we do them both. 🤣
THAT is an unusual capture. I definitely don’t see that every day, or like . . ever.
It was one of my favorite water features in the city but apparently it has missed the appreciation mark for others. 😇
It’s funky!
I get a little wrinkly when I’m in the water for too long, but dang, those poor guys….
The fountain is a little creepy but whomever created it…well, I wouldn’t want to meet him/her on a dark night in an alley.
My sense is when that was created, things were done a LOT differently.
We would prefer to keep our heads!
It’s a bit creepy, but fascinating.

It’s funny so many think it’s sort of creepy. Guess it’s one of those “you had to be there” places to appreciate it. 😆
We don’t think we would like to meet that trio is person:) But it sure is some cool art.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I think they’re probably quite harmless.
….not a word …oops 🐬🐬🐬

Always thought it was such a fascinating fountain but like you said, probably a bear to keep clean. A job in and of itself.
That’s kinda cool!
“Interesting” would be a good word for this one.
Ha! Very diplomatic of you. 🤣
My last plumber, my last electrician and the man who came to read the meter….
Oh my gosh, that made me snort coffee through my nose! Bwahahaha.
We have some carved heads…from Leo’s father’s time in the Congo.
When we had French artisans round to quote for work we used to use the electrician and plumber remark on them…if they smiled, they got the job.
Terrific qualifying criteria.
BOL!🤣🤣🤣
How fun and we all love whimsical.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. ♥
Right back atcha!
Reminds me of Game of Thrones… 😉
Yes, it kind of does! Bravo.
I don’t know. I’d go with weird and creepy rather than whimsical.
Bwahaha! If it’s creepy you want, go to Venice and see their masks. 🎭
Hmmm. Maybe later…..
Not sure I’m keen on those guys ‘hanging’ around the water, MOL Creepy.

It’s a fun water feature and lots of masked statutes in the town of Aachen. They’re really more whimsical than creepy. 😺
Looks cold … but a spirit of Mardi Gras. 🙂
It was actually a lovely autumn day in Aachen, Germany. But I’ll go with the Mardi Gras thing today even though that’s a couple of weeks away. 😉
