Wish I Were There Wednesday ~ May 13, 2020

More than ever, I wish I were here visiting with my parents and taking in the breathtaking surrounding landscape. *Sigh* Rotten pandemic.

  1. Lovely Photograph. I take it this is Colorado – or a little part of it. I would like to be in Glencoe Scotland and then head up to Dornoch and spend some time there.

    1. Indeed, this is the view from my parents house in southern Colorado. Wide vistas on the prairie plains which I love.

    1. I’m sure they would, but I’d never let them loose-too many bunnies, snakes, cactus where they could get themselves in all sorts of trouble. Sam used to love walking there and checking out the wildlife. He always made me chuckle when we’d see antelope. He literally did double takes at them. I’m sure he was thinking, “what in the world was that?!?!”

    1. The vistas are far and wide. I love solitary walks along the sunflowered road.

    1. Some of the prettiest views of the Front Range and Twin Peaks are from my parents house.

  2. It won’t be long and those sunflowers will be abloom here in Kansas.

Our human brother and family want to come visit us – they are in Texas – but Mom and Dad think it may still be too early to fill our home with the all the big kids and little grandkids. So hard not being able to with family.

    1. Sure hope so. Seems like spring is needing to be coaxed out here. 🌻

  3. What a beautiful picture, Monika. We hope it all will be over soon 😸Clean Pawkisses for a Happy Wednesday. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞

    1. Thanks, it’s such a special area and the sunflowers always face toward the mountains.

  4. Sunflowers always reminded me of the most beautiful looking adjustable microphone in the world.

    Because . . . nature.

    Well played, young lady

    1. They have such a cheerful vibe to them and a great way to kick the blues to the curb. 🌻🌻🌻

    1. So peaceful with a breathtaking view of the Front Range mountains. With this shelter in place thing, I’m especially longing it.
