Every try to exercise with dogs? This was pretty much me trying to do yoga after the Thanksgiving food coma. I eventually had to barricade the miscreants out from the studio while I ohm’d my way to bliss and {hopefully} burned off a few extra calories in the process. Nothing like trying to keep one’s focus while you’re trying to not topple over doing Tree Pose while a certain Ninja barked her head off.

Haha. My stepmom was once doing pushups when her dog decided to plop himself ontop of her while she was getting ready to lift herself up again lol.
Hahahaha those sit ups look way too familiar. Piper is the best worst coach ever. Leo tries to take over my yoga mat. Jack likes to position himself within strategic snuggle distance.
I wish I didn’t know what you meant by that! They both consider the mat and me as their own pillow. LOL
Maybe that’s all part of their plan. They want to keep us soft to be more comfortable pillows for them. Hmmmmmm

BOL!!!! Yup! My humom stopped working out at home a long time ago. Anytime she sits on the floor I’m already in her lap jumping on her and licking her face. heehee
Ha! Yes! Been there, done that. Rita doesn’t bother me toooo much. She’ll come by and give me a quick kiss, then lay down by me. But our last dog, Abby used to be all over me while I’d do yoga. Wish I had some video of it. Her favorite thing was to come do her own little up/down-dog *underneath* me while I was doing down dog. Such a nut.
Oh yes, I have my own memories of the sheepdogs flicking me on the nose from underneath me during a downward dog pose. Guaranteed to make you fall into a hysterical heap on top of them! 🤣
Almost all of my spine exercises are lying down. Fortunately, my dogs have finally learned that it’s perfectly normal for me to lie on the floor, and they no longer maul me with kisses!
Now, that pose isn’t meant to be done with dogs around you!
It makes the stretching so much more enjoyable though, doesn’t it?

That was me, too, before Ducky came along. With Ducky I went straight to surrender. But now that they’re both walking on the treadmill most mornings, I find I can get some time on it too.

Common scenario at our house. This is why Jeff does yoga downstairs and shuts the door to the basement.
Does he get the barks of “come here, Dad…NOW” or the whines that say “where ARE you, Dad?” 😊

I’m constantly amazed how excited my dogs get if I put my shoes on, grab my purse, or get on the floor. Dog Only knows what they think these things mean!
Who can say for sure when dogs are in the equation. But they sure seem to bring them joy and by association, us. 😍
This works with cats too…big time.
At least you get those great massages while you’re working out. Slobber isn’t quite as endearing for tight joints!

And even many things from some tables as I recently found chewed bits that was moved to the floor for better chewing. Oh Elsa, that’s the 4th pair of glasses you’ve chomped.

Unless a iRobot is on duty. Then they scatter like roaches which is what I’d have if I didn’t vacuum.
Trying to stay “family friendly” … but Axel can’t stand it if I get on the floor to stretch! He gets so excited (if you get my drift) and he has to stand over the top of me positioning so I get fully view of his “exuberance” – Yuck!
