There’s lots of trying around here. Both in terms of the ‘help’ as well as the aggravation of getting a chore done with a gigantic obstacle in the way. 😇 But I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Just think of all the water our dogs save us!! 🙂

Sometimes they look SO betrayed to see us put a yummy smelling plate in the dishwasher! Or even worse … rinsing it off IN THE SINK!

Norman, we do our best to help with that cycle too, but for some reason we don’t think Mom appreciates our assistance.

Perhaps we should press them to learn to dust rather than hang out in front of the dishwasher. But that’s just me 😆

We have two dogs quite willing to pre-wash and will bark/chuff for empty plates if they aren’t handed over quickly enough. Little Garnet, though, is reluctant to compete for the honor with the other dogs. What does Elsa do?
Elsa would probably lick plates if given a chance. Mostly she’s MIA in the kitchen unless a cheese wrapper is heard. Then like the ninja she is, she appears at my feet looking with quiet anticipation. 😇
Do you need help getting rid of sunflower seeds?

I keep hoping he’ll pick up the whole dusting thing but so far he’s reluctant to wrap his paws around a Swiffer. 😞
