No rainbow, I don’t think the light would have refracted enough for one. But the sky had enough personality to make up for it. Loading... Reply

Thanks, Sandee. Skies on the open plains are just fabulous. There’s always something going on even on a clear day but on stormy days, simply incredible. Loading... Reply
I think those dark clouds pictured here eventually worked their way East…and then stopped for a “rest.”🌧 Loading... Reply
It’s fascinating to watch them roll across the horizon. Had hoped they’d come my way, but alas, they were definitely headed east. And quickly! Loading... Reply
Cool pic of the moving clouds. Thats one different thing about Texas. Their blue skies are cloudless majority of the time! Loading... Reply
I always love seeing storms roll across the plains. What struck me was that view had ie all-blue sky, white as well as dark clouds. Happy midweek. Loading... Reply
Rains and sunshine…was there a rainbow?

This looks like a painting!
Whoa, that’s a very kind thing for you to say.
Just speaking the truth.
😊
Love the photo – it’s a “yin and yang” sky……………….
Hugs, Pam
Something for everyone. 🌞🌦🌤

What a gorgeous image, Monika!
Aww, thank you! It was a very cool day weather wise.
Love when the skies have so much personality!
Me too. So much going on in the atmosphere.

Autumn is like that, yeah it is. 😊
That is some cloudscape….
And very typical on the plains-it’s those wide open spaces.
Sure could use those clouds.
Still hot down your way?
In the 90s but no rain yet. October is supposed to be the second wettest month.
We’ll keep our fingers crossed for you.
Do legs too. Couldn’t hurt.
👍🏻
Beautiful!!
Thanks. It’s always interesting to see clouds roll through.

Yes it did. Skies can be so cool to look at!
Gotta love the clouds and their formation. Talk about entertaining!
Exactly!
Are those storm clouds coming in from the right?
Yup, it was quite the band of showers.
Better batten down the hatches, a storms a brewin’
They were quick moving. Luckily no ‘hatches’ were injured. 😆
