    1. Thanks, I love being able to see the bottom in a lake even though I’m sure it’s a bit down due to the drought. It was amazingly clear.

    1. Thank you. It was quite unfathomable in my mind. You’d never see water like in the city.

    1. Thanks. It was spectacular! And the best part, it was in Evergreen-just 40 mins away. 😍

  1. shallow but pretty. You’ve seen so much more of Colorado than we have. And so much prettier parts of it.

    1. That site is Evergreen Lake- not that far away and the town is charming with cute shops. You guys should take a quick drive up there sometime.

    1. I don’t think I’ve ever been to the head of that lake before and the shallow shoreline was just sooo pretty and worth the trip.

    1. Thanks, guys. Yeah we know all about drought here. I can’t ever remember being up at the top of the lake but it seemed low to me. It sure was clear though. Happy mid week!

    1. There is something special about being near a body of water-perhaps it is the life sustaining element of it, but it was definitely zen-like walking around its perimeter.

    1. That water might be a little chilly for you, Bean. As in Rocky Mountain spring water is co-co-coold 🥶

    1. Thanks, always enjoy going to Evergreen-it’s close enough to make a quick trip yet very far from the whole city vibe.

  2. What a great fall shot. Beautiful.

I linked this post to Wordless Wednesday.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches to the pups, a smooch to Norman and a big hug to mom. ♥

    1. Thank you, Sandee, I appreciate the link to the blog hop. Soft puppy smooches from Norman and a gentle tail wag from Elsa.

    1. It was one of the most lovely days to walk around the lake. Such a pretty day that was ever so tranquil and quiet.
