For those of you in the Northern Hemisphere, Happy Spring Equinox. While ‘Spring’ isn’t fully in evidence in many places, it’s one step moving toward the season of renewal. For those of you buried under mounds of recent snow, we hope today is just the beginning of a shift toward warming days, Spring bulbs and fresh green sprouts. Happy first day of Spring.
Live, love, bark! πΎ
Thanks for the happy smiles you bring! Great quote!
And HAPPY SPRING!! πΊπΉπ΅π»π·
It seemed to fit the bill ever so well.
π
hello spring…. and hello more smiles than in winter ;O)
You’re so right-not many think smiley things when they’re experiencing winter. They’re too busy looking for their snow shovel. π
Ten days and summer is over in Australia for another year. 11 days and the clocks go back.
Ugh, we really hope DST goes away for good this year. Iβm still trying to acclimate and itβs been 3 weeks since our switch.
Java Bean: “Spring! We are celebrating its arrival with … more rain!”
On the bright side, it isnβt white.
Happy Spring indeed!
While was less snow here, than where I was over the weekend, its just about gone now, thanks to 2 days of bright sunshine, and temps above freezing. 47F right now.
We hope its not a tease…
Hurray for sunshine! Weβll be in the mid 50Fβs all week. Finally!
That saying is so, so true. I also learned years ago that a kind word, perhaps a sincere compliment, makes even the “I wish I wasn’t here” clerk look at me and smile.
I love those kinds of moments! Happy first day of Spring.
All I have to say is, its about damn time!
Amen to that! The first day has been cloudy though pleasant temperature wise and the sun should return tomorrow.
Woot!
Every day longer than the one before and expectantly, warmer. C’mon, Spring!
Iβll second that! π
Happy first day of spring, Monika.
And to you, John.
Happy spring flowers!! We took our first day of spring visit to Dairy Queen for a pup cup!

A lovely quote to formally enter Spring with…and I have a mind to go outside and lay down in the lawn…but perhaps I’ll just settle for a nice walk instead. Hope your typical March snows are replaced by sunshine this time around!
However you celebrate the first day, may it bring you and those around you, a big smile. Happy Monday, Bruce.
Spring needs to arrive now. ππ»
It sure is taking its sweet time arriving, isn’t it? π€πΌ it happens soon.
Agreed!
Most snow gone from the Golden K and dry weather beginning later this week on its way. Whew- what a winter! Bring on Spring and longer days. Oh yeah and baseball! Have a great week at the Ranch.
No doubt you are all rejoicing about things drying out. Hope you have a wonderful Spring baseball season.
Happy spring!
And to you and the kitties, Kate. π
AND… not only is it the first day of Spring, it is International Day of Happiness so your lovely image is perfect π
Happy Spring Equinox and may you find things that make you happy today!
Thank you, Dale. And to you as well. It’s going to be a good day to find happy (I did not know about the International Day designation-but cool-we need things to celebrate like that). π
Thank you. I didn’t I saw a post about photographers sharing images of what they perceive as happy. So I’ve been sharing a few of mine, and will do so all day π
Excellent! Will look for your pics. You can never have too much happy, right? π₯°
Sweet! And no, you cannot! π
Hurray, that IS something to celebrate! Typically March is one of the heaviest snow months but so far, we’ve managed to dodge that bullet. No doubt we’ll rue that in July. Enjoy a sunny day.
Having just had three weeks of rain and thunderstorms I am delighted to see sunshine this morning!
Washing machine very busy….and no muddy paws to be seen.
