Monday Musings ~ March 25, 2024

Monday smile

Well this here little ‘sunbeam’ just shoveled 6 inches of snow off the sidewalks-yay spring. A spot of ‘motivation’ right now will be most welcomed and appreciated. Happy Monday.

Live, love, bark! 🐾

    1. I’ve heard forecasts that suggest more is on the way. But not to worry, snow in March and April is not only welcome, it’s our snowiest months. In fact, we’ve experience snow on Mother’s Day! Spring storms are nice because shoveling isn’t as bad as when it snows during winter-a lot of it melts without shoveling on sidewalks…so yay. No achy back and wonderful moisture. Win-win!

  1. YIKES…….hope the coffee made up for the shoveling. We don’t expect any more of that white stuff….lots more wet stuff but no white stuff. Spring is somewhat reluctant around here but we NEVER lose hope!

    Hugs, Pam

    1. Wet, white…it’s all good for our slice of Mother Earth. Spring and unpredictability seem to be interchangeable concepts, don’t they?

  2. The quote in the box was hilarious. Shoveling 6 inch of snow sounds a little bit foreign to me. We’ve only had rain and thunderstorm but it has not been cold and certainly no snow. Well it was different when I lived in northern Sweden.

    1. I’ll just bet it was! When I found that little meme I thought it was perfect for the day after a very hectic weekend. Good thing that tasty elixir has the ability ability to smooth out any rough spots and turn me back into a human. We’re more likely to have snow than rain and (at least in springtime), I don’t have a problem with that.

  3. I loved that “funny!”
There’s a quote, “Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.” Let me rephrase that: “Snowstorms may endure for a night, buy spring cometh in the morning.” Uh, hopes that helps!

    1. Most likely sooner. Should be in the 50’s and 60’s for most of the week. This is how the 303 does spring! 😊 Have a great week.

    1. We can have snow into May around here. And that’s totally normal. Hope you guys’ weather is improving.

        1. This snow isn’t melting quite as fast at last week’s storm but should start to melt with a nice warming trend this week. 🤞🏼

  4. You deserve all the coffee 🙂 We just have lots of wind today but we are in the 70’s so I guess we will take the wind over snow.

    1. We received about 6 or more inches but it wasn’t so bad. And it’s fairly slushy as not horribly difficult to get around. Happy Monday!

    2. Coffee is perfect on snowy days. I’ll take the snow over wind any day of the week. Windy conditions make me crabbish. Thanks for swinging by-we 💙 visitors.

    1. Well you guys are more likely to receive rain than we are so we just have to accept what Nature gifts us. 😊 This snow wasn’t that hard to shovel so all is good. Have a super Monday.

    1. Thanks, Marcela. It wasn’t too bad and not nearly as heavy as last week’s. Spring storms are so much better than those in December and January! Wishing you a happy spring-like day!

    1. I think all dogs like that kind of coffee…the unattended part seems to make it taste better. Happy Monday.

    1. Coffee almost always turns any potential frown into a smile. Happy sunbeam day! ☕️

  5. Fortunately the skies will be providing most of the sunbeams at the Golden K today. Hang in there; I’m pretty sure mother nature has bigger fish to fry than to continue messing with you guys in the Rockies. Wishing you warmer and dryer days at the Ranch.

    1. If Mother Nature continues with these moisture rich storms, she can mess with us all she wants, I won’t mind. Have a super week.

  6. Yikes on the snow. It’s been raining here. Bugger. Enjoy your coffee, my friend. You deserve it.

I linked this post to Awww Mondays.

Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. Scritches to the pups. ♥

  7. As you say on the regular… you need the moisture! We had our snow on Saturday. Oh joy, oh bliss!
Happy Monday! Love the Monday Motivation! 😉

    1. I rather enjoy the spring storms. They come in, dump a lot of snow and melt fairly quickly. It’s those storms in December and January that weigh heavily on the soul.
