Monday Musings ~ June 30, 2025

Wait…you’re hauling me to next Monday-where did the weekend go? Oh well…as long as I’m closer to autumn. Your turn, what’s your caption?

        1. Hmm interesting. Sorry. On our end it seems like it’s working. Sorry.

            1. Sorry the like button is giving you problems. I checked and your like showed up. It may have been just slow because the WP network had a lot of online traffic on it. You’re all good and we appreciate your visit.

    1. Aren’t those something else?! Cracked me up. Thanks for your comment, always a delight to hear from you.

  1. Java Bean: “Ayyy, wait, what? There is a Denver Dog Fair?”
    Lulu: “We have to go!”
    Java Bean: “Sí, we do!”
Oona: “Oona hopes there is a Cat Fair somewhere.”
Chaplin: “Maybe in Carlsbad? That’s just down the road …”
Java Bean & Lulu: “ROAD TRIP!!!”

    1. The folks who produce the dog fair also host a cat fair here in Denver but I don’t know if their operations are nationwide. If they do, it would be a fabulous event to attend-they do a great job for both the exhibitors as well as the attendees.

    1. It can’t come soon enough for us. Here hoping it’s a good week for you. It will be very hot for the next several days again. I’m so over summer.

  2. July!

I mean . . . where did June go? And umm, where did half of the year go?

The heat? That’s the only thing working in slow mo right now.

    1. You got that right…slo-mo heat for most of the rest of this week. Ugh. 83 days and counting!

    1. Thanks Frank. They were pretty amazing and definitely dog sized. The Doggles on the other hand…looked them up-those puppies run between $50-80 smack-a-roos! 😳 Happy Monday.

    1. LOL-good one! I cannot even imagine trying to cart a dog in a backpack! Course my dog weighs 80 lbs so there’s that. Happy Monday.

    1. Ha! Love it. I can guarantee I will NOT be traveling with Wilson on my back…not even in my dreams. Happy Monday GBGV world.

    1. Hahaha…he was not amused with the fair, nor was his owner. 😉 When I asked her how she was doing, I think she thought I was asking for her left kidney. Happy Monday, Kate.

    1. Glad tyo kick off your week with a smile, Jacqui. Hope today is great and the week full of all things good.

  3. I can’t believe how fast June sped by. A great shot. I’m terrible at captions.

I linked this post to Awww Mondays.

Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Wilson. ♥

    1. Aww thanks, Sandee. Yes, June just whizzed by. ‘Only’ 84 days until autumn arrives. Here’s to having a fabulous Monday.

    1. We can’t get through this hot summer quick enough and keep repeating ‘one day closer to autumn.’ Happy Monday.

    1. Hahahaha…I hear you! Carting an 80 lb. dog in a backpack would NOT be my idea of fun…for me or him. Happy Monday, Paulette.

    1. Hahaha…good one! I can’t even imagine trying to carry my dog in a backpack. Even if I could pull it off, I have no doubt he’d be a wiggle worm and we’d both go head over tea kettle! Happy Monday, Sue. Ear rubs for the Zen kids.

  4. I don’t think any of the thugs would enjoy being carried like that….and I certainly would not enjoy carrying them!

    1. I know just what you mean. I cannot fathom carrying Wilson. He’ll need to learn to skate as there’s no way my back would be able to survive his heft. I can barely move him off me in the middle of the night! Have a terrific Monday, Helen.

    1. I cannot even imagine schlepping a big dog. Even pulling them in a wagon (which there were several at the fair). Wishing you and Chester a pawsome Monday.

    1. You’re too modest, Carole. Happy Monday. I couldn’t decide if that pup was uncomfortable or bored at the dog fair.
