Monday Musings ~ May 4, 2026

Monday smile

And so the ongoing battle between the 80 lb. quilt continues. I swear this dog rather enjoys ‘busting a move.’ On top of me.

Here’s hoping all your moves this week are pawsome. Happy Monday.

Live, love, bark! đŸŸ

  1. I know when the temperature drops in the early hours of the morning
.I suddenly have canine company.

  2. Dale – Boucherville – I love cooking, entertaining, writing, photography, walk/hiking. The best part of blogging is connecting with other bloggers and creating real conversations and relationships and having them feel something from what I offer.
    Dale says:

That got an out loud chuckle from me!

  3. Kate Crimmins – Retired Human Resources executive with two bossy cats ready to share insights, experiences and wisdom to make you laugh and think in new ways.
    Kate Crimmins says:

I have a fleecy throw that I use for my legs when I watch TV. The cats love it. When I go to bed, I fold it neatly and toss it on top of the sofa. In the morning it’s in a bunch on the seat. I suspect some sort of orgy was going on overnight. Both cats love it so I have no idea who did it!

    1. Tails Around the Ranch – Denver, CO – The inspiration behind this blog was one knuckleheaded Standard Poodle named Sam but is now inspired by a House Pony-Wilson. I'm Monika, the upright. Living in the Denver metro area, we post about dogs, rescue and nature. So grab your favorite beverage and be prepared to howl along with our adventures. And don't forget to bark your 'pup-tacular' comment; we'd love to hear from you.

That’s too funny. Even though we don’t have a cat, Wilson always tries to blame “the cat” for anything that goes wrong. I think Elsa is channeling through him. Happy Monday, Kate.

  4. derrycats – I am a pet sitter who lives with a houseful of animals as well, many of whom have medical and special needs. This blog is my reflection on the joys and blessings of living with our three cats and two dogs, and lots and lots of foster dogs and cats.

Too funny! Thank you for a morning giggle. Always good for the soul.

    Happy Monday!

      Oh yes
that double dog blink which indicated they’re either stubborn as all get out or deaf. In Wilson’s case, I’m not sure which is more accurate. 😉 Wishing you a pawsome Monday, Eliza.

For Amy, there’s nothing better than helping people see the beauty of science as she does. I can hear the BeeGees singing in the background.
