~ Tails Around the Ranch

Hey guess what sports fans? Sam here…someone came to visit me!!! Look who arrived at our Ranch? Our friend, Bashful, straight from Bacon’s magical kingdom. Guess Bashful decided to take Horace Greeley’s advice and “Go West, young man!” Our neighborhood serial killer our mail lady, delivered Bashful Friday afternoon. Boy was I excited to see him and totally loved the fun things he sent along for me [more on those later]. In keeping with good Standard Poodle etiquette, I properly bathed greeted him. I think I heard a gasp and a tiny, little gag but then he warmed right up to me. We’re gonna have so much fun!

Later this afternoon we’ll be taking him on his first big adventure to our pet therapy awards program. I can’t wait to introduce him to all my therapy pals and share some of our adventures with you next week. Hope you have a great weekend!

  15. Sand Spring Chesapeakes – Cambria, WI – My husband and I have six "furry" children Gambler, Glory, Guilty, Slammer, Gertie and one cat Bones and two furangel's Norman and Nellie. We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.
