We’ve had quite the week, spending the past 3 days working at the hospital. The extra day and long sessions have worn both of us out so I leave you with a quick smile. We’ll be back as soon as we’ve rejuvenated our spirits and ‘sorted out the pond.’ Wishing you all a fabulous Friday and an even better weekend.

  3. I think it’s so awesome you all spend so much time doing therapy work at the hospital – I would love for my guys to work as therapy dogs. It’s such rewarding work for you both. When you go to work there – do they tell you which patients to visit?

      Many thanks for the kind words. We are assigned floors and can visit any patient not in isolation or otherwise restricted from a visit. We probably spend as much if not more time with staff. They need therapy too! 😉

  4. Groovy Goldendoodles – VA – Just a wife and mother (military spouse / retired) that waited almost all her life for a dog of her own. Tried to have them from time to time with little children, but moving so often it was too difficult. Waited patiently for the right time and the right dog.... That time has finally arrived and we were blessed with the Grooviest Goldendoodles ever! Harley carried on with a "solo" act for almost a year after the untimely passing of 4 yr old Leo. Now he and his younger spunkier brother Jaxson plan to share all their canine adventures and antics living in pet friendly Charleston SC, exploring pet friendly places and pet therapy work at the Medical University of South Carolina.   8. ruth7933 – I am retired and am full time care giver to my husband who is a disabled Nam Vet with dementia, heart disease, and is an insulin dependent diabetic. I am mother to a grown son, three grown grand children and a beautiful 7 month old great grand daughter. I live with reoccurring MS and myalgia of the lower extremities. Hobbies include being active in the local rock painting group and we hide them all over the county and give hints to where they are hid on our face book page, for other folks to find them. I am also learning how to use my iPhone 7 and iPad. My husband and I are active in 12 step programs and have been clean and sober for many years. We share our lives with a pair of love birds and a guinea pig with an attitude.

  10. Sand Spring Chesapeakes – Cambria, WI – My husband and I have six "furry" children Gambler, Glory, Guilty, Slammer, Gertie and one cat Bones and two furangel's Norman and Nellie. We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.
