  3. CC – Cristina is Italian born, and though she has lived most of her life all over the U.S. she considers herself Italian...she just can't speak it very well! As with many other things, she is working on that (although it's a bit harder the older she gets). Still, there are just so many hours in a day. After leaving the lovely climes of Southern California she went to the heat, humidity, and insect-infested state of Alabama. She struggled for five years to be a "big girl" amidst the crickets-on-steroids, the snakes, scorpions, and other creepy crawlers of the day (and night!). It really is true what they say; "It's a jungle out there!" After another stint in Northern Virginia she is trying once again to find a new normal (as well as some bliss) in her new state, Florida. Cristina is happily married to a loving husband and has two grown children. Her medium-standard poodle love crossed the rainbow bridge in 2023 but he remains forever in her heart.

    Merry Christmas! After putting up with the 11-hour drive, The Poodle is thoroughly enjoying his Christmas vacay in Northern Virginia. A romp in a proper dog park (which Huntsville sorely lacks), rough and tumble play time with Nica, the beagle mix (my sis’s four-legged rescue) and barking hissy-fits with sis’s two cats (not so exciting for the uprights.).

  8. Sand Spring Chesapeakes – Cambria, WI – My husband and I have six "furry" children Gambler, Glory, Guilty, Slammer, Gertie and one cat Bones and two furangel's Norman and Nellie. We breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We are both avid hunters. We also enjoy competing with our dogs in hunt tests and field trials. That is where you can find us during the trial months which are April-September. When were not at a trial we are busy training our dogs. We go snow goose hunting in Canada each year and do all the hunting that Wisconsin offers.

  12. My Golden Life – Upstate South Carolina – I love animals, especially dogs. I enjoy US history, and reading biographies of our former presidents and other historical figures. I love the music of the '60s and '70s since I was growing up in those decades. I love the Beatles and Andy Williams equally.

  16. Groovy Goldendoodles – VA – Just a wife and mother (military spouse / retired) that waited almost all her life for a dog of her own. Tried to have them from time to time with little children, but moving so often it was too difficult. Waited patiently for the right time and the right dog.... That time has finally arrived and we were blessed with the Grooviest Goldendoodles ever! Harley carried on with a "solo" act for almost a year after the untimely passing of 4 yr old Leo. Now he and his younger spunkier brother Jaxson plan to share all their canine adventures and antics living in pet friendly Charleston SC, exploring pet friendly places and pet therapy work at the Medical University of South Carolina.
