The official start of summer. We have tomorrow, Thursday, 21th of June, Midsummer. Our light nights are soon over.
And each day thereafter we will lose a minute. With the hot temps, I’m not sure sure I will mind much. 😇

Amen to another cup. I so need another cup of java as well though it’s a bit challenging with a torn out kitchen. The coffee maker is literally on the floor in hubby’s study amidst a pile of stuff pulled out of the kitchen. I think a visit to Starbucks which is just five minutes away is in my immediate future. I’d bring The Poodle but when flying solo I do not trust leaving my handsome guy out of sight while getting my coffee. Ever thankful for an extra cup of java to get over Wednesday’s hump and slump…..

I’m ready for my second cup of coffee; but Ducky just spotted something on the neighbor’s back deck and decided a bark fest with Shadow was in order. Well, Shadow’s given up but Ducky? Yep, she has too – time to go back on squirrel patrol. How can I make them go back inside when it’s so pleasant out here in their yard??
I just finished mine too so now we’re off on the morning jaunt. Good luck with the squirrel patrol.
