I got up, dressed, took the dogs out. Came home and made breakfast. Then Annabell appeared and I asked her why she was up so early. She said “It’s Sunday – Church” I said it wasn’t and it was only Saturday. Turns out after some discussion and a TV clock she was right and it was Sunday, but somehow I got out of bed convinced that it was only Saturday. Oh well, things happen :o)
Been mid 40c most of this week and no change this weekend. I am heading off to spend the next three days in Adelaide so I hope my car A/C holds up for the duration. Sorry to hear about the rain. Probably have a rainstorm here when this heatwave breaks.
Hopefully the heat will break soon for you and we’ll get some snow before everything dries up. Some trees are starting to bud up it’s been so warm with 60’s for today. 😱

The Poodle is in for his grooming. Lovely. Not lovely is the fact that we now have freezing rain which, aside from frightening driving conditions, means that his expensive coif will deteriorate rather quickly. But it’s hump day so there is cheer in that! 🙂
Down here, the only difference between late winter and early spring is the temperature of the rain. We still get downpours that flood the porch – and leak into the house – so it really doesn’t matter to me. BUT that said, I am tired of the rain this week.

When Friday is over you have to wait a whole week for another. On Wednesday, you have to wait only 2 days.
Sometimes my week goes so fast I think it’s Wednesday when it’s already Friday.
The longer I don’t have a regular job, the harder it is to figure out what any day is. They all seem like Saturday.
