Nearly Wordless Wednesday ~ December 4, 2019

Hey guys, it’s me, Sam getting ready to make rounds at the hospital over the next couple of days. I’m also going to train a new member today. Woof, woof! I’m tail-wagging happy to greet a new pet therapist into the program. Fresh new dog hair blood is always a great thing and I don’t mind sharing the nurses with this new buddy, a Huskie, Lab, Shepherd mix. Wish us luck.

Make it a great day.

  1. Sam, I am sure you did a FABulous job at training the new puppers! I can’t imagine a finer example than you! I hopes you had a FABulous week, and have an even better weekend my furiend!

    Ruby ♥

    1. Hey Ruby…actually I bombed since I got sick but mom tried to at least sell my virtues to the newbie. He was very tolerant and kind and will do it again soon.

    1. The trainee did fine. Sam got sick and wasn’t at his best but hopefully showed the new guy some tips that’ll help him once he’s an official member.

    1. You’re most welcome; thank you for swinging by our “Ranch.” We always 💙visitors!

    1. We’re pretty good plowing our way through now. It’s mom who has trouble keeping up with us.
      Your fur-iends,
      Sam & Elsa 🐾

    1. Thanks, Cupcake. I like to think I’m a pretty good trainer. Besides, it’s a great way to show the new guy how to woo nurses.

    1. We had a couple of hiccups (Sam got sick) but I’m looking forward to working with the new guy and his dog. We’ll be very blessed if he joins us.

    2. From what the handler said about his dog, she will be a real love and very welcome. Can’t wait to meet her.

        1. 😍Sam’s ‘romancing’ days are long gone, but he still can make friends wherever he goes, both with the 2-legged and 4-legged sect. That works best for us.

    1. This session was with the handler only but we already know he and his Huskie/LabBorder Collie mix will be a lovely addition to our group.

    1. I’m a pretty confident Casanova, er I mean Spoo but I think I can handle the competition. Plus mom loves me best but don’t tell the Ninja. 🤣

    1. That’s very nice of you to say. We try but Sam wasn’t on his top game yesterday (a bit under the weather) but hope we were able to show the new handler the ropes.

        1. We tried as best as the circumstances permitted. Luckily we were surrounding by very understanding folks.

    1. Oh thanks, Helen. We stumbled a bit yesterday with Sam having an upset tummy but the new recruit was a real good guy and hope our shortcomings don’t dissuade him from joining our group.

    1. He tried but with an upset tummy, didn’t have his best training day but hope we managed to provide the new handler with some tips that will help him and his dog when they complete the process. 🤞🏼

    1. We try to impart some tips we’ve learned over the years and even though Sam was under the weather, hope we shared enough with the new handler to help he and his dog out once they are fully approved.

    1. Thanks, Sandee. Mom sends her best to you in return. I just send loads of tail wags and woofs!

    1. You’re are just too sweet. Thanks. Sam was a bit under the weather yesterday but we hope we managed to share enough of our experience to help the new handler for when he officially joins.

    1. We’ll share some of the tips and tricks we’ve learned over the years. Some of it, things we’re not supposed to do. 😁

    1. We’ll be truly lucky when they are officially a member of our hospital group. The handler is ‘pawsome’ and we think his dog will be too.

    1. We’re excited to have someone new join us. Sam always likes to look professional when we train. 😉
