Hey guys, it’s me, Sam getting ready to make rounds at the hospital over the next couple of days. I’m also going to train a new member today. Woof, woof! I’m tail-wagging happy to greet a new pet therapist into the program. Fresh new dog hair blood is always a great thing and I don’t mind sharing the nurses with this new buddy, a Huskie, Lab, Shepherd mix. Wish us luck.
Make it a great day.

Live, love, bark! 🐾
Pawtacular my furiend. You do very impawtant work 💜nose nudges💜
Sam, I am sure you did a FABulous job at training the new puppers! I can’t imagine a finer example than you! I hopes you had a FABulous week, and have an even better weekend my furiend!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Hey Ruby…actually I bombed since I got sick but mom tried to at least sell my virtues to the newbie. He was very tolerant and kind and will do it again soon.
We believe you are most likely a great teacher, Sam, and we hope that all went well! ♥
The trainee did fine. Sam got sick and wasn’t at his best but hopefully showed the new guy some tips that’ll help him once he’s an official member.
We know your newbie will do well cause he will have the pawfect teacher!
hugs
Mabel & Hilda
Aww, thanks, Mabel & Hilda. Appreciate the kind words.
🐬…hiccup😂🐬Sam’s a trooper😇🐬

You’re very kind. Thanks!
Excellent, Sam. I take it the Sherpa Team have arrived to lead you through the snow!!
We’re pretty good plowing our way through now. It’s mom who has trouble keeping up with us.
Your fur-iends,
Sam & Elsa 🐾
You’re definitely the man for the job.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Thanks, Cupcake. I like to think I’m a pretty good trainer. Besides, it’s a great way to show the new guy how to woo nurses.
I hope all went well. The new recruit has the best mentor in you, so I’m sure it went great!
We had a couple of hiccups (Sam got sick) but I’m looking forward to working with the new guy and his dog. We’ll be very blessed if he joins us.
Sorry Sam got sick. Hope he is feeling better.
Thank you. It’s a day to day thing. Today has been mostly a good thing. 🥰
That’s good news.
It sure is. I hope there are many more of the good days.
We’re glad the weather is permitting you to go back to your hospital job, Sam. And you got a promotion! Does that mean you get extra treats? XOX Xena and Lucy Pee S You look very handsome wearing your doctor stuff.

It was a very sweet gesture that we appreciated as much this year as we did last. Hugs.
From what the handler said about his dog, she will be a real love and very welcome. Can’t wait to meet her.
Maybee you mite find rowmance Sam???
🥰
<3 <3 <3 😉
😍Sam’s ‘romancing’ days are long gone, but he still can make friends wherever he goes, both with the 2-legged and 4-legged sect. That works best for us.
Hope you had a great time with the new dog.
This session was with the handler only but we already know he and his Huskie/LabBorder Collie mix will be a lovely addition to our group.
Watch out Sammy, those HusLabHerds are well known to steal the hearts of the nurses!
I’m a pretty confident Casanova, er I mean Spoo but I think I can handle the competition. Plus mom loves me best but don’t tell the Ninja. 🤣
We are sure you’ll do a great job as a mentor. Good luck!
Thanks! We always will accept good luck. 😍
You’re going to do smashingly well, of that I am certain!
That’s very nice of you to say. We try but Sam wasn’t on his top game yesterday (a bit under the weather) but hope we were able to show the new handler the ropes.
Poor Sam. I’m sure you guys did your best.
We tried as best as the circumstances permitted. Luckily we were surrounding by very understanding folks.
Of course! We receive what we get…
* uhhh… make that “give” not get!
😇 I knew what you meant.
I know you knew… still… there are times when m OCD kicks in (even though I never thought I had one 😉 )
Boy…do I hear that! 😍
Good luck with the new recruit….he’ll have a fine example to follow
Oh thanks, Helen. We stumbled a bit yesterday with Sam having an upset tummy but the new recruit was a real good guy and hope our shortcomings don’t dissuade him from joining our group.
Love your photo Sam! Have fun!!!!
Thanks, he tries to look less Knuckleheaded on training days. 😉
Trainer Sam .. perfect. Do well … and enjoy!
He tried but with an upset tummy, didn’t have his best training day but hope we managed to provide the new handler with some tips that will help him and his dog when they complete the process. 🤞🏼
Watch out that the interloper doesn’t steal your clients.
We’re good with sharing, everyone should get a share of the ear rubs.
Ears???? SQuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaWK
Or wing rub if that’s a better jam.
You are the purrfect dogtor to teach the newbie, Sam 😸Pawkisses for a Happy Wednesday🐾😽💞
Many thanks, Binky!
We are sure you will be a great teacher as well as a great doctor.
We try to impart some tips we’ve learned over the years and even though Sam was under the weather, hope we shared enough with the new handler to help he and his dog out once they are fully approved.
You do such good work, Sam and training too. Excellent.
Have a woof woof Wordless Wednesday. My best to your mom. ♥
Thanks, Sandee. Mom sends her best to you in return. I just send loads of tail wags and woofs!
The award for best bedside manner goes to . . .
SAM!
You’re are just too sweet. Thanks. Sam was a bit under the weather yesterday but we hope we managed to share enough of our experience to help the new handler for when he officially joins.
You guys know all about sweet. You’re rock stars of the highest order.
{blush, blush} 😊
how exciting, you’ll train by example Sam
We’ll share some of the tips and tricks we’ve learned over the years. Some of it, things we’re not supposed to do. 😁
Sounds like a fun – but busy – couple of days! Enjoy!!
Busy is an understatement. But we’ll get through it. 😍
Have fun with the newbie!
We’ll be truly lucky when they are officially a member of our hospital group. The handler is ‘pawsome’ and we think his dog will be too.
Best wishes for the new member of the team, Sam.
Thanks! It’s always exciting showing newbies the ropes.
You look a great doctor. Take a photo of you and your new apprentice.
We’re excited to have someone new join us. Sam always likes to look professional when we train. 😉
oh we hope you can share good news about your new team mate ;O)
We hope so too. His dad sure seems like a pawfect handler. 🤞🏼
Hmm…already something in common. :wink, wink:
😍
